    Doing something illegal. No way in hell a team like Ole Miss who has struggled for the past few seasons reels in a class like this without doing something a little fishy. I still don't see how any black athlete would wanna step onto the campus of the most racist university in all of college athletics.

  • There is a lot of appeal for some people to Oxford. It's a family friendly atmosphere with very nice people and a really fun place to go to college.

    Some recruits will want the big city USC type schools and some want a smaller atmosphere. Freeze has just done a good job portraying that and found kids that identify with it. He is different from our other coaches in that sense and it is showing. He's also a relentless recruiter similar to Ed O, even though Ed was a moron. That's all Sameolereb was trying to say.

    I can see with your rich football tradition in the 40s or whenever you were good (if ever) why kids would flock to play for your coach, who I don't know and have likely never heard of.

    Good luck taking over the SEC! And with integration with other races if you ever get around to it.

    Don't pretend like your state is immune to the stereotype of the south. The racial card is old and tired. Frankly when goobs play that card they just show how uninformed they really are.

    There is nothing I enjoy more on a msg board than two southern states throwing redneck insults at each other. If you live in Miss, Bama, GA, SC, LA, Tenn, or Ark...you should probably just leave the whole trailer park/wal-mart smack talk on the back burner. Btw, I live in SC.

  • Ole Miss is #10 class in the country btw. Y'all are right no other team other than Alabama lsu Georgia or Florida can ever make a resurgence as a contender in the sec. Things can Change with the right coach as everyone should know and if you do your research for each one of our big players, all of them had connections to ole miss. I think every decade two sec teams start moving back up. 2000's was lsu and South Carolina maybe the 2010's is ole miss and vandy. Just spitballing on the last part but you can see what I mean.

    I wouldn't say SC moved up until the 10's, but I think you are right. We had a few top 10 classes a few years into Spurrier's era, and that was certainly not the norm prior.

  • If we were pulling in multiple OOS 5* players I'd be suspicious and we've been a top 10 team the last 2 years.

    I'd be excited, but waiting for the NCAA to sniff around.

    We need elite in state talent to do that, or at least overrated in state talent. I think this year has made it glaringly obvious.

    Thats true, our recruiting rankings do live and die on how much talent is in state on any given year. We have done much better in Fla. and GA under Spurrier though.

He is winning over the current players, and he is winning over the families of everyone he meets. Parents know after talking to Coach Freeze that they can trust him to look out for their kids during their time in Oxford. Pair that with the fact that the only other SEC town that compares to Oxford is Athens (in all fairness I have never been to Lexington), and you can see why these top recruits are starting to wind up in Oxford. Now, this is just one year, and teams in the SEC sign classes like the one we're getting every year, but the point is things are trending upward for Ole Miss and everyone can see it

    Not saying this isn't true or anything, but this is what every single fan base says about their coaches, then they get busted and you have to admit he was cheating....unless your ND, then you just pretend the recruits were cheating you and your team is the victim.

  • It makes me lmao whenever i see someone say freeze is a good Christian man lol. The same guy that waited outside Robert Elliotts house while coach croom was at a in home visit. When croom left freeze busted in the house cursed out Roberts mom for letting croom conduct the visit. Robert commited the very next day to msu. Or last year when Richie brown came for an official visit after he had commited to msu and told freeze he was solid to msu so freeze had him and his dad escorted off campus by campus police. Freeze is a pos and there is all kinds of dirty stuff under the table going on. Kailo Moore mom got a condo for Christmas from an Om booster and sister got a car. Lavon hooks was paid cash to come. Last year channing wards mom was given a house rent free for life to sign. Nkemdiche dad was offered a job at umc. They are very good at cheating i will give them that

    Sure whatever surge then, but who is to say it can't happen? I know your a Bama guy and you have the two best coaches of all time under your belt but we are the sec for a reason. Do you think the reason Alabama is good because they beat bad schools all year? No it's because they play hard nose football in the sec. Ole Miss's presence has not been there to much lately but you would be a fool to think a school in the best conference can get better

    the real SEC recruiting battle is Auburn duking it out w/ MSU for 5th and 6th in the West.
