You are entitled to your opinion... but it's wrong.

KSU dominated Miami from start to finish.. There wasn't anything they could do about it. Now I'm not saying we had a chance to win against ND but Miami had plenty of chances and just shat the bed with TD drops on multiple occasions. Don't kid yourself, it was more of a home field advantage at soldier field than their own stadium. Tacking on points late against OU doesn't factor in just like KSU letting OU score late while trying to play bend don't break (eating up the clock) defense doesn't. We played both.. KSU's domination was pathetic. At least with ND, a lot of it was self inflicted.

ND beat Miami 41-3. They outgained Miami 587-285. ND had 376 yards rushing. I don't think 2 dropped TD passes on the first drive would have made much of a difference.

How big of a meltdown would the Left Coast posters have if an undefeated Oregon was left out and undefeated Notre Dame and Alabama played in Miami?

If we cant run the table and have a shot.. I want Bama vs ND in Miami for the Title

  • You people really know nothing about us...I don't think any of us could care less if oregon gets left out or not. We each make our own glory or failure. Conference affiliation is simply a necessary evil, no heart or regional pride involved at all...I believe it's called a competitive spirit, and standing alone on your own merits.

I'd actually love to see a NC between Alabama and Notre Dame. I really like Bama and her tradition, but I cheer for the Domers vs everyone else they play, save USC. It would be nice to see two traditionally elite and historic programs go head on, instead of a couple of pretenders.

  • Of the four top teams I think Bama is the only one that controls it's own destiny. No way in hell do the champs get left out of the title game. Of the other three I think Notre Dame based on the eyeball test is left out. Cant get past the ugly games they have played against average teams. K-State and Oregon is the tough one. Right now I give the edge to K-State based on resume. Still a lot of football left to be played. If all four end the season undefeated I think it comes down to who plays the best between K-State and Oregon down the stretch.

K-State gets the nod as of now for the second spot, but if both Oregon and K-State finish undefeated, then Oregon will leapfrog them imo. The Big XII lost the CCG and that extra win over a ranked opponent for Oregon should put them over the top. It shouldn't have come down to that though since K-State backed out of their game against the Ducks this year.

I can't see ND being left out if they finish undefeated though.

  • Oklahoma fans seem to think ND is a better team than KSU.

Meh. I'm just pointing out we had plenty of chances to make the game closer. We could have easily had over 400 yards of offense if we just executed the basics or didn't have TD's called back. Against KSU there weren't any scoring opportunites outside of the late TD we scored in the last two minutes against their 2nd teamers. The scores are misleading IMO.

You had two chances on the FIRST drive, both dropped. That does not equate to 14 points lost. Yeah you could've gained 400 yards, if you were not completely man-handled. You do realize NO team has gained more than 379 yards against ND, all year, right?

Look, I have no problem with Miami. I actually came away impressed with Golden and Morris. The game plan was solid, and Morris is the best QB we've faced all year (still). However, your team made a few mistakes (most notably the 2 drops on the first drive), as young teams do.

But to imply that you weren't completely dominated is laughable. We threw a grand total of 3 or 4 passes in the ENTIRE SECOND HALF. Our running game display was the most dominant I've seen from a ND team, in my lifetime. You knew what we were going to do and couldn't stop us. Our 4th string RB was running wild behind our 2nd team line, against your first team D.

I hate salting the wound, and I don't mean to be a dick. I just can't sit by while you paint this false picture. The numbers don't lie. Go look for yourself. 41-3 was a favorable outcome, for Miami, based on what we did.

If you still think KSU is better, that's fine. It's your opinion. I'm not going to argue that. But please don't say that you even had a chance against ND. That is false!
