    The length hasn't but there was an instance when Lou Holtz got there in which Notre Dame had been down for a while and he talked the Administration into allowing him to enroll no more than 4 players on a yearly basis that would not meet the enrollment standards at the University.

    That helped him get Tim Brown, Tony Rice, Rocket Ismail, among others. None of those players would be allowed to enroll currently as that practice ended with the departure of Holtz.

    So did the steroid abuse but I'm assuming that wasn't just Notre Dame back in those days and wouldn't be surprised if Bama players weren't also juicing up in the 80's.

    How many Pac-12 titles does USC have? I shall allow you to count them up. It will not take long. Its the same as the number of BCS bowl games Notre Dame has won.

    (Its a trick question...as only one school in the history of the universe has ever won a Pac-12 championship in football. We got a participation ring for that, I think.)

    There was no Pac-12 before last year. This was the first year of that configuration of a conference. Just like previous to 1978, there had never been a Pac-10.

    You gonna tell us of your personal experience with the Notre Dame academic review board, and how they told you personally that they only accept PHD candidates for consideration as football players? Is that whats coming up next from your childlike innocence of an idea factory?

    It wasnt THAT complicated.

    There is only one year of Pac-12 football. Sure its petty and pedantic, but I am dealing with really stupid USC fans (I know a redundancy) and they only respond to simple insults.

    Don't believe the myths. Even the football players have higher academic enrollment standards at Notre Dame.

    I love the blip about South Carolina at the end of that article. Two of those guys they listed were complete busts. That was a huge recruiting year for us though

    When did I say they only take PhD candidates? You have yet to bring facts to it. How about a link?

    I want to kick out Vanderbilt, Ole Miss,Miss State,South Carolina,UK,Mizz,and aTm and add USC,Notre Dame,OU,UT,OSU,and both UMs and just seperate into our own entity.

    Stanford would not follow USC anywhere. Nobody likes you guys actually.

    Plus the SEC would feel over matched if they invited USC. No program in the entire SEC can match USC's amazing record.

    As NCAA cheats.

    Maybe if USC could get SMU to go with them, the SEC would feel less intimidated?
