Oregon Offense < Clemson Offense

Nova pounces on the opportunity to take a shot at Oregon before the clueless west coasters wake up and bomb this thread...perfectly executed

now lock this thread...before mjruffalo and keep on ducking attack with their typical drivel

Problem is that KOD is a Baltimoron. If Nova is in fact in Nova that concerns me a bit. I mean he's already given detailed instructions on how he would like Nova kill himself in another thread. One more Oregon is < than post and KOD might take matters into his own hands...

Couldn't agree more, and everyone knows nova and I don't agree on anything. Clemson NFL talent severely outweighs Oregons, all you need to know

The difference between you and Nova is a question better left to neuroscience. But I do have my suspicions... and it makes me sad to think you were never really given a fair chance

Boyd does have the tendency to make some very elementary mistakes when he sees a lot of pressure. When he has time, his deep ball is probably better than anyone's in the country.

    Im taking Clemson

Andre Ellington is a better NFL prospect than Barner

The top WR for Oregon has barely 300 yards ( The Black Mamba )

Clemson has two players over 500 yards and one in Hopkins who is already over 1000 and has 13 TD's ( the top 3 for Oregon only have 12 TD's combined..... 3 players..... still not as many as Hopkins )

I also think we can all agree Watkins numbers would be better had he not missed 2 games

So WR is just hands down in Clemson's favor, I mean there really is no discussion when you factor in the rest of Clemson's core on top of those 2 ( 5 star Charone Peake and 4 star Martavis Bryant )

TE is close but Ford has more yards, TD's by 1 and catches.... than Lyeria..... its close, but Clemson has the edge clearly and Ford is a good one

QB is also close, but Boyd leads in yards but nearly a 1000.... yes, a thousand..... and TD's while Mario'ta has the edge in less INT's by 4 and completion percentage, barely ( 70% to 67% )

And I think the biggest difference, is Clemson proved it can put up points on a very good defense

Oregon has not yet done this

Im taking Clemson all day, the NFL talent is way more scary than a bunch of midgets out running terrible defense

Ya we get it you hate Oregon, moving on. I'll take Mariota all day over Boyd.

You don't honestly believe that Clemson's offense is better than Oregon's. Not sure why you try and troll this.

I do actually, more balanced and more talent = better

Of course you don't believe it, you are incredibly biased to all things PAc 12

Clemson also scored 37 on a top 5 defense, Oregon has done nothing like this considering they haven't even played a top 10 defense yet

I could agree that at certain positions Clemson has more talent, but as an overall offensive group Oregon is so far ahead of Clemson. Oregon is averaging almost as many points in the first half as Clemson is for the entire game, and Oregon has played a strong SOS.

Of course Stats don't tell the full story, but in this case it is simply the truth.

Now you put Chip Kelly in charge of Clemson, and I am sure their offensive production would skyrocket.

  • Oregon will face the #1 overall rush defense, and #12 scoring defense in a couple of weeks. We will all see then.

Chad Morris is just as effective a play caller

higher rated stats vs a tougher schedule, and have pulled their starters much more often. I mean everything points to Oregon has having, not just a better, but a much, much better offense. There is nothing tangible that would suggest otherwise.

For example BYU has the #4 rated defense, but one could certainly argue that they don't have the 4th best defense in the country based on who they have played. (though they have still played a stronger SOS than FSUe)

Except for all the stats I posted

And SOS doesn't judge defenses, its judges teams

That is stupid when discussing offenses

And lolz at bringing up FSU's SOS, irrelevant to this discussion

Funny that none of the stats you posted included total points or total offense. Annnndddd done.

    wig

  • what stats? Oregon has a better scoring offense, better total offense, higher percentage of TD's to red zone possessions, better rush offense, a higher average yards per play. The only meaningful stats the Clemson is better is in turnovers lost, Passing offense, and pass efficiency.

Something Oregon has done in the Pac 12 just once in their history

FSU has done it 8 times
