  • I am sure that I am going to get killed for saying this, but I think that David Shaw is easily a top five college football coach and the future if he stays in the college ranks.

Him and James Franklin are about as sure things as they come IYAM. I would love to have either one of them replace Saban. I'm telling you that Franklin and Shaw will make noise in this sport.

  • I would take Shaw or Franklin as a head coach at USC and be very happy about it.

Not at all RATT. This guy is a great fit for Stanford & in my book, easily a top 5 pick: again IMHO.

  • Shaw, like brad Stevens at butler for basketball, is an alumni of the school be coaches for so I think it will be tough to pry them away . And both are smart and think long term

Did Stevens attend Butler? I thought he went to DePauw.

/Don't ask me why I know that.

i was wrong you are right. he went to depauw. usc should go hire him ASAP except he probably has a 10 yr contract or something comfy like that

I don't think he wants to leave Butler, but I'm sure we could offer twice whatever he is getting now. I wanted either Stevens or Smart. Easily my favorite two coaches in CBB.
