Over/Under on T. Rich's 225 reps?

I'll say he hits 30. Jonathan Stewart did 28, and T-Rich is one of the only high-profile backs I've seen in recent years that is comparable in strength. I am assuming that T-Rich is just a little stronger hence that extra couple reps.

At 20, I'm taking the over all day long.
I'd put it at 27.....and still take the over.

I would be surprised if he didn't get 30. Wouldn't think twice about an over/under of 20.

I was actually part of the team that worked with Jonathan Stewart at Athletes Performance, dude was a freak. Was not a huge bencher, but he could have been a world-class olympic lifter had he had any interest. Amazing power through the hips. I do think Richardson is a bit stronger(at least in the sense tested in the bench test), he was a state champion powerlifter. The bench press is the most ridiculous test at the entire combine, how testing upper body muscular endurance from a lying supine position is in any way correlated to football is beyond me.
I also did some work with Stephen Paea who holds the combine record while he was at Snow College; there are a number of guys who are flat out stronger than him in the bench(max ~500ish), but he did a lot of work strictly for the bench rep test and had since high school with the Filiaga brothers. One of his long-time training partners, Isley Filiaga was nearing 60 reps as a redshirt freshman at Utah but had grade issues and then a career-ending injury, never saw the field.

31 is the RB record, so I would say a better over/under would be 28.

Yeah the bench has very little correlation to performance strength, but I still think its fun watching them bench at the combine. I'd love to see someone put up 60.

He isn't a big-time NFL prospect because of size, but John Simon of Ohio State would make Chapman cry in the weightroom. He will put on a show next year.

Same thing as Paea, saw some vids of him maxing at 495, but then pushed 50 reps. Martin is one of the leanest 300lbers you will ever see. Another kid like Simon who is a weightroom monster, but just doesn't have the natural size to be dominant.

Saw a video of MM benching 500. His goal is to break Peia's record and get 50 reps this year.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
