  • Tell me about him .... His stats were not that great for you guys but does he have the talent? Was it a matter of he just didnt have consistent guys around him?

    He probably would have been our 4th string QB depending on if our freshman (Bench) redshirted or not. Not sure that would help you guys.

  • He would be an emergency backup for Mett while our other guys are still developing. I dont think he would ever play unless Mett got taken out but we only have redshirt freshman behind him as of right now with no game experience at all. You have to realize that if we were to lose Mett we could still win 13 games by just running the ball with someone with adequate skills. I think Bolden could just be insurance for the season.

  • I'll put it like this. Matt McGloin beat him out. Easily.

    The kid got a great arm, is athletic and has good size. He will make some great throws. However, if you pressure him at all, he stinks. He is like a robot... stiff, with zero ability to improvise. He throw an INT on a screen pass in this year's B/W game for crying out loud. Even worse, when things aren't perfect he goes from throwing the prettiest ball you have ever seen to a complete duck.

    You would be better off with running the wildcat.
