Doesn't he have a daughter getting really good treatment at the medical center? Would that also incline him to stay?

Cleveland clinic is a great hospital. I know because I was a heart patient there and if I had a medical problem I would like to live close to their so I am sure that may influence a decision if his daughter is sick but I am sure it wouldn't be the deciding factor.

In a serious manner, yes.
It is actually his son with a rare condition that needs treatment (others with a bit more knowledge can elaborate if they wish).
They do not want to constantly uproot the family and have their son change doctors frequently especially considering the treatment they receive in State College.
Couple their unwillingness to continuously relocate, with the size if O'Brien's contract and the job security he has at Penn State with the automatic extension derived from the sanctions announcement, along with the very hefty buyout that came along with it - and it is very unlikely that he leaves, nor would it be very cost-effective for an NFL organization to take that on.

Sure it's a fun name to have thrown around this time of year as he's a hot story with the way he guided Penn State since he arrived, but when you actually look at the details surrounding his situation as opposed to "insert hot young offensive-minded college coach here" you see how unlikely it is that he actually leaves.

I think uprooting the family will be challenging but if the brownies could sell him on Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals he'd see it's really no comparison, unless he and his son are very attached to his physician

Agreed, I did a clinical rotation there and was blown away.

His son has Lissencephaly, which is neural condition. After checking CC is ranked 3rd in the nation for pediatric neurology and neurosurgery.

The place is amazing they saved my life and I'm sure could do wonders to help the boy.
