    As of now, the names are just for this year because BOB wants people to see the names of the players who decided not to leave. We'll see if that becomes permanent.

    They should make them a plaque or something... PSU uniforms are one of my favorites and seeing the names on the back is kinda cheesy IMO.

    Nice move, but I think you Penn Staters will NEVER forget the ones who stayed, they will always hold a place of honor. It would be awesome to have a banner in the stadium with those names, an honor roll.

  • I love the traditions in college football. That said, one of the traditions that I hate are schools that don't put the names of the players on the backs of the game jersey. Watching a team that I see once or twice a year it makes it much harder to follow who the players are without their names.

    I think it's more of a "we want the rest of the world to know the guys who stayed" mentality than "we want PSU fans to know the guys who stayed."

    Don't be an ass, you know damn good and well that the ones that deserve that are the ones that stay. We had some of our guys leave to, just as Colorado would under the same circumstances, just as Penn State had some leave. You forget about those.

    It will definitely be strange, but it's what the players and coaches wanted, so I support whatever they want. They're the ones who had to decide whether or not they wanted to be a part of this team, so they should get to decide what to wear. Many on our board are sour about it and think it ruins the tradition, but I'd rather the players have their way on this one.
