Palm's Way Too Early Bowl Projections

If Phillip SIms transfers we are one injury away from having to start Phillip Ely.........Phillip Ely.

Well whoever loses out on the starting job at UF is most likely going to transfer too. That will leave us with two scholarship QB's. One of which was a 2* recruited to play in the spread.

  • This makes no sense. He has Michigan and Wisconsin in the BCS? No way that happens. If two teams from the Big Ten make it, it would be MSU and UM most likely. Wisconsin should play in the title game against either MSU and UM, so if they lose (which he is projecting them to do), then the two highest ranked teams would most likely be UM and MSU.

  • I think Alec Morris has a chance to be a starter/ But it's just risky stuff relying on him to turn into an SEC QB.

It very easily could happen. If Wisconsin wins all their nonconference games and only has 1 loss going into the Big Ten title game and State loses to say ND or Boise plus 2 more Big Ten games then I could see Wisconsin staying ahead of MSU in the polls.

I wouldn't worry about the downvote thing. They were a bad decision and nobody takes them seriously.

I try,but for some reason, sometimes they bother me. Haven't posted on BOL in like six months because of them. Now I just lurk .

MSU could easily go 9-3. But Wisconsin going 11-1? No way. Ducksworth has it right.

i think we would be just fine with phillip sims...just because aj beat him out doesnt mean he isnt good. aj just played better

i think alec morris could be decent. he has a big frame and a good arm

SIms just needs to figured it out mentally and that will come with more game reps which i believe he gets this year

Alec Morris definitely has the size and arm strength to be an SEC type quarterback, jsut depends on how he progresses when he is on campus.

I have heard Mack Brown is practicing with the first team.

As far as QB goes it is still up in the air. I doubt we know even after the spring.

You guys are basically the same team as Texas. If either one of you runs into a qb watch out.

How do you know who is going to be ranked higher? Remember non-conference games count to. Wis. Could win all their non-conf games. MSU could lose to Boise & ND. Your not getting in a BCS game with 3 losses unless u WIN YOUR CONF. Or your ND.

  • Can JJ get a sixth year?

    Alonzo Harris

  • I think we got a good chance at the Rose. Idk about the Wisconsin pick. I think an ACC at large would get in before them. If it came down to MSU and Wisconsin I think Wisconsin, would get the nod though.

You're smoking something. Your defense is an abomination to everything Miami stands for. You're a cool poster but saying 7-5 is Miami's floor is a shocking oversight.

If we are playing WYOMING that means we won 6 games, one more will make it 7-5, i really think we wont be that bad, on paper things look bad but football isn't won on paper, hurricanes will shock people this upcoming year

But football is played with defensive lines which you guys barely have one.

Like i said on paper its weak but who's to say guys like smith, porter, briscoe, grimble or even ricardo williams wont be good, i think we should withhold judgement until we see them in action.

    abs_da_don

  • Wait Ricardo Williams is a DT now. I hope that is not the same Ricardo Williams who was barely 200 as a recruit.

Oh wow, nevermind then. Darius Smith went two months past NSD without a single D1 offer. He's huge and gets in the way sometimes but he is what he is, flawed and not good. Maybe Curtis Porter is good after not doing a damn thing his first 3 years on campus, and dude you jumped the shark citing Briscoe.
