Start by getting rid of everything you own that was made in China, as I'm sure not a single person who built any of your electronics or stitched any of your clothing has healthcare.

Lmao. They'll boycott American companies who pay American dollars but enjoy China products built by the sweat of 10 year olds. Oh the humanity.

    Raise costs. It's that easy.

Wow, why didn't they think of that before to increase profit? You should be the CEO.

rumor You might want to look into the lost revenue due to customers not wanting to pay an increased cost for the same cheap product.

    Of course the racist agrees.

I might have made a racist remark that night, but it is because that guy made some racist remarks to me a few days before.

  • For the week end on Nov 10, there were 76,000 first time unemployment insurance claims. The highest in 7 years. Awesome

Except costs will be up across the board. Argument= invalid

Well as long as everyone receives the exact same money from unemployment, they'll be happy.

So are we all going to get paid more so that we can afford these now more expensive products?

  • And you'll extoll and defend the virtues of a "free" American market comprised of American companies that have decided they'd rather profit off of the sweat of all of China, and all the while you feel this some how this makes you some super patriot. Oh the irony

Nope, we just fundementally disagree on the role of the federal government.

You're so hilariously bad at this. You acknowledge a workforce demographic that only has a high school education, and are upset they don't get paid like people who surpassed that. I mean, why can't we all just be equal? I simply don't want to live in a world where some people have more then others.

Haha. I think you just suffered from a really bad case of seeing what you wanted to see in my post.

im not being argumentative with you at all, i like where youre coming from but if i hire an employee to "full time status" most adult americans would assume that health benefits are included, businessmen know this and thats part of the good faith agreement. yes, i would continue to pay my employees all their just dues, they make my business grow.

I agree with you 100% that full time employees should receive healthcare benefits. I even think that companies who do not offer benefits to "full time" employees should be heavily fined by our government. I was simply pointing out that companies want to turn a profit, not simply keep people employed because it's the right thing to do. We could actually come up with a lot of things to improve our country on these threads, but honestly neither party seems to work towards these solutions. All it takes is commonsense and compromise.

Okay, we'll talk about Denny's instead. Denny's will have to pay $175,000 per store per year in health care costs, when not all of its stores even make $175,000 in profit per year. Got a Forbes article for me on that one?

Like it or not, this is going to have to stop somewhere. You can't compensate an employee more then their worth and stay in business. If you think Papa John's and similar companies are just making political statements, be prepared to boycott more businesses then you don't.

Actually, I don't think obama cares what happens in between now & when this eventually becomes single-payer health care. Trust me the gov. will be the only one that can afford this. Even when we can't afford it actually.

Exactly Obamacare is going to go badly and naturally the solution the Democrats will propose will be single payor. But by the time we get to that point the government won't be able to afford single payor, so don't count on it happening.

Lol. Best part is, the people who are most likely to be affected by this are Obama voters. Hope y'all enjoy it!

I bet if half the voters for Obama knew how it was going to effect Pappa Johns Pizza, they would've voted republican.

Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter said he plans on passing the costs of health care reform to his business onto his employees.-city-county observere. thats a direct quote, he didnt pass it off to consumers, me paying 14 cents extra is nothing compared to employees with families losing wages and health benefits.

It's his company and his decision not to offer healthcare to his employees. If he wants to downsize so he doesn't have to comply, that is his business...

You can order a pizza from this guy or you can order a pizza from one of the thousands of small businesses with less than 50 employees that DO offer health benefits to their employees even when they don't have to.

    Guess which pie tastes better.

DV from some fag whose delicate sensibliites were offended by my prior post.

Save yourself a lifetime of aggravation in the real world, and just get "Born To Lose" tattoo'd on your sloping simian forehead now, and report to the nearest encampment under local Interstate overpass.

I didn't downvote you but i find it ironic that your saying someone else has delicate sensibilities directly followed by you using a derogatory term proceeding an amateurish attempt at making someone out to be a simian loser because they DV you. It is obvious your easily upset and i think your parents didn't hug you enough when you were a child. Have a nice night.
