Go youtube that fight. Believe me it was that one sided. Mayweather took him to school & it was not at all close. Marquez couldn't even get close without eating leather & when he did get close Floyd's speed & counter punching ate him alive. The overall speed of Mayweather was far too much for Marquez. That fight was hugely one sided.

Because of promoters. The sport has been compromised because of the inmates running the asylum. They make more money, but the sport itself sucks. UFC, the best fight the best. You earn a title shot, you get a title shot. Boxing needs a Dana White type of guy so that the right fights happen at the right times.
A good comparison would be the big 10 and sec. Big 10 makes more money. Is it a better product? Not even close.

Let it be known. When Adrien Broner runs threw everyone he fights and gets his chance at Floyd is when we will all see Floyd fall. Broner is the truth. I've never been so impressed by a fighter since I saw Floyd. Broner is as good as Floyd now and he's only 20. He just has to climb the divisions like Floyd did before he'll have a chance at Mayweather and by that time Floyd would've probably retired or he'll dip on Broner because Broner's better. I'm telling all you boxing fans now the next big time fighter is ADRIEN BRONER. If you haven't seen him fight I suggest you youtube him. Kid is young, fast, powerful, extremely smart and is a defensive genius. Very similar to Floyd actually.
