I listen to the BBC World News late at night on the local public news station in town from time to time. Always good for news on UK,Europe,and former UK colonies.

Yes, but with that threat on the table, very few people would make the decision to be gay...and the ones who did would be so stupid that they'd be easy to round up and kill.

Got anything to back up your claim that it isn't a choice? Anything at all? Why do dumb ass kids choose to go all emo or Goth? There's no benefit there and that choice comes with plenty of drawbacks. The point is, some folks just aren't going to use common sense when making decisions. Queers are just a small part of that group.
