    Got anything to back up your claim that it isn't a choice? Anything at all? Why do dumb ass kids choose to go all emo or Goth? There's no benefit there and that choice comes with plenty of drawbacks. The point is, some folks just aren't going to use common sense when making decisions.     And being an Emo or a Goth doesnt mean that they have to also do disgusting things in order to become one of those. After all Emos and Goths are often doing that simply because some person of the opposite sex is a part of that group, and they want to be close to them.

    You are making the claim that some guys are willing to perform sexual acts on other guys, just to be different? In addition to forgoing actual sex with women? And in terms of science it is the detachment from the single most important, communal role of your species to pursue your own ends. Just think that is interesting.

    Sway between agnostic and optimist deist. I don't claim to know the ways of the unexplained, but I am intrigued by the thoughts behind the need for religion, mysticism etc. I don't know if there is an after-life, but it would be nice if there was one (although the infinite possibilities of how it would work is even more mind-boggling).

    On life, I just try to live a good one and enjoy my time here with friends and family.

    On death, Twain (questioned whether he said it,but it applies anyways) said it best:"I do not fear death, in view of the fact I had been dead for billions and billions years before I was born, and did not suffer the slightest inconvience from it." I am intrigued by how man copes with death, terror management theory and Freud and stuff like that.

    On scientific theories, I don't consider them my theology.

    Humanity has constantly struggled due to not enough resources. Homosexuals can be a benefit to a resource poor community because they won't produce extra mouths to feed. They can function as extra caregivers throughout the community and be surrogate parents if a natural parent dies for whatever reason.

    Humanity has never had the problem of not being able to produce enough people. It has trouble keeping them alive.
