Are you saying Narduzzi is a prime candidate for the SC DC job? I haven't seen anything about this.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13

Some USC slappy posted this on our board too. No way it's happening.

That's what we're hearing over here in Troy.

TOS-S wrote about it earlier, too.

  • He's not leaving MSU unless it's a AQ Conference HC Job, IMO.

I agree. It makes no sense otherwise.

I wouldn't say that. If Narduzzi had defenses like he has put together at MSU at a higher profile school he would be a hotter head coaching name. I don't think he leaves though.

If he was the DC at a school like SC, or ND or something along those lines I think he would be in line for some good jobs. Is Narduzzi any worse than Bob Diaco? Diaco gets named a lot more often though.

It doesn't really have to "make sense."

Would going to USC as a d-coordinator be a lateral move on Narduzzi's part? Maybe. That does not mean, however, that it won't happen. Rivals and Scout are both reporting this.

It could happen but I don't think so. It IS a lateral move.

  • Don't know if true, but heard he was offered 1.2mil per year. Monte was the highest paid DC at 1.5mil. Who knows? After this debacle, our boosters will pay just about anything.

Which school has more talent on the defensive side, USC or MSU? Which school reels in better recruits, USC or MSU?

Before answering, keep in mind that I'm not talking about production but, rather, talent. MSU's defense may have been much better statistically than that of USC last year, but that's a direct reflection of Narduzzi, not the players with whom each team has to work.

If Narduzzi can flourish with a defense comprised of a bunch of 3-stars, imagine what he can do with a defense comprised of 5-stars.

USC has talent; we just don't have anyone who can coach them up properly.

He would be a great hire if he chooses to leave

No one wants to work for your douchebag of a coach, brah

Sorry, but I'll move to CA for $1.2M/yr if it makes you feel better

LMAO! Tell me, then, why so many of the top recruits in the Nation want to play for our "douche bag of a coach?"

By the way, I'm not a fan of Kiffin, whatsoever.

I love how people can't logically refute a well-supported argument. I provided very valid points, to which you respond by acting like a 12-year-old.

LMAO! Get educated, fool. Reggie's AGENT bought his family that house, not USC. The only thing USC was guilty of was not reporting it. They did not, however, pay a single dime to Reggie.

Why don't you try forming your own opinions and reaching your own conclusions, instead of letting ESPN do it for you. Do you ask ESPN what toppings you should get on your pizzas, too? Sheep.

  • Gotta wonder what's going through Narduzzi's head right now. He turned down more money to become the DC at Texas A&M so he could stay at MSU instead.

  • I can't fault him if he takes it. $1.2M is a lot. MSU can't match that or the quality of Southern Cals hookers, so if it happens it happens
