    Even better...if he takes the DC job at USC and Kiffin is fired but the defense is much improved, he could be the next head coach.

    Are you seriously believing what is posted by a bunch of homers (myself included) on their home board? Considering the debacle of a season we just had?

    Scott was not confirming any of this..but it's out already that Lane and Pat Haden are meeting with him today. Doesn't really mean much, your coach could just be using this to leverage a pay raise.

    He's just mad. We had the exact same issue with "Narduzzi to ATM" last year. You guys are down right cool about the whole thing compared to the ATM'ers. Their whole point was they are a top ten program, we have more money than god, no way Duzzi stays at MSU, here is a link to some info about our campus!

    And Duzzi turned down a massive raise to stay at MSU, because let's face it, ATM is creepy.

    In the end, if this were three years ago Duzzi would probably jump at a chance to go to USC. As it is, he's ready for an AQ job either this off season or next, no need for him to go take over someone elses players in unfamilar recruiting grounds for one year.

    TAMU fans are butthurt because they tried to throw a ton of money at him last year but he didn't accept. Honestly, with how good Manziel ended up being, if their D was better they would have been in the NC discussion.

    I'm not 100% sure about that. I know SC can offer a lot of money and big time recruits...but his recruiting base and connections are in the midwest and east coast. He's basically ready for some AQ HC offers now. DC to DC at this point would be a lateral move no matter what, he's not exactly trying to build his resume from scratch. I think he'll take a midwest/east coast HC job within the next 2 years.

    Yes, he is a HC...in Corvallis - note the difference.

    I believe the word is "return" aggressive style defense. I was at USC when the "Wild Bunch" played, all I know is a tradition of aggressive Trojan defense...this has been a very disappointing four years on that side of the ball.

    Defense, and the dominating play of the "Big Uglies" in offense, is something USC has always been known for.
