  • If you could please go and crawl back under the rock you came from, that would be much appreciated. Nobody gives a shit about your families press releases or investigations. Just go home, stfu, and try to do some good work for the children in that community. That's the least you could do with all that blood money JoePa brought into your family.

I'm not sure why it bothers you. If it's BS, it will be ripped apart. It's their money trying to protect their family member... what's the issue? It bothers you that people say the Freeh report is flawed?

How about you just wait until the report comes out tomorrow before crying like a little girl?

There was a report done by the director of the FBI. It had not so nice results for PSU. So now, a family member of one of those incriminated in that report is producing their own report. I don't need to wait and see it, I can tell you what its going to say. They seriously should stfu, be thankful Joe went on his way before he was criminally indicted like the rest of the admin of PSU, and devote themselves to trying to change that legacy.

Former director of the FBI being paid millions of dollars. Don't pretend like it was an FBI investigation of PSU to intentionally mislead people.

Here's an article about him from before the Freeh report was released, so it's not PSU biased.

    Where There’s Smoke There’s Louis Freeh | TIME.com

The story of former FBI director Louis Freeh is an odd one. Freeh was openly hostile to Bill Clinton, the President who appointed him, and later trashed Clinton in a book for allegedly selling out an FBI terrorism investigation in Saudi Arabia so he could solicit a donation for his presidential lib...

How could this former director of the FBI have something like this on his Wiki page? According to you, his word means everything.

"In late May 2011, Freeh was retained as an independent investigator by the Ethics Committee of FIFA in the bribery scandal centering on Mohammed bin Hammam and Jack Warner.[38] However, the Court of Arbitration of Sports subsequently rejected Freeh's report as consisting of little more than speculation.[39]"

    Sounds familiar.

    What??? How can this be?!!?!!??!?!?

    getmyjive11

  • And yes, the Paterno's investigation will be biased as well. I urge you to take in all the information, then decide for yourself. To act like Louis Freeh, a man being paid millions to come up with whatever information the board wanted, isn't biased is crazy. Everything is biased. Take in what you can and decide for yourself, like rational people are expected to do. Especially from a man with a very sordid past like Freeh.

I won't be putting nearly as much stock in the Paterno report as many PSU fans do. Many who said the Freeh report is all BS will take this report as fact. This doesn't make sense either. Both will have some fact and should be looked at together to get a fuller picture.

That article was written in 2012, PSU anounced he was leading investigation Nov 2011. That's besides the point, there is not one credible person that thinks Freeh had a vendetta against PSU. There are discussions about the results, but it is the most unbiased investigation of the incident that is ever going to happen.

Exactly. I'm going in with zero expectations. I just am happy that the other side is being represented (as it always should). I will decide for myself what is BS and what is legit.

No one said he had a vendetta. What people are alleging is that he went in with an idea of what he thought happened and formed his report and his opinions around that. It doesn't mean that he is 100% wrong, but if you read the report objectively, there are both holes and merits to it. The holes no one is talking about.

There is never going to be a full and 100% accurate report. Joe is dead. Freeh didn't have subpoena powers. Many individuals involved are facing criminal charges, so have reason to not be involved in the process. The Freeh report isn't perfect, but its the best there is ever going to be.

He formed his reports from examining thousands and thousands of emails. Reading court documents, from sworn testimony. Speaking to as many of the actors as possible. If we agree he didn't have a vendetta, then reason would suggest he formed his opinion from the thousands of documents of the case.

The number of email he said he analyzed would have taken years to go through. Needless to say, the numbers were exaggerated. Freeh has a history of making assumptions (as detailed above). I can tell you one of the emails that refers to "Jerry" in his report is not Jerry Sandusky, but Jerry Dunn, the PSU basketball coach at the time. That's just an example of an inaccuracy that people just assume is correct because of Freeh's prior position in the FBI.

Don't you agree that all sides should be heard in any case? I just don't see why the Paternos issuing a report with their own money is a problem.

He didn't speak to McQueary, Paterno, Curley, Sandusky or Schultz. So give me a break with "as many of the actors as possible." He didn't speak to any of the actors.

Well, he did speak to Spanier in the 11th hour... and then (according to Spanier) totally disregarded the info he gave him. shrug

28% believe he molested children and 15% were unsure according to the poll you're probably referencing.
