Patrick Peterson will lock down Calvin Johnson

    Money talks in the NFL and the franchise tag is available. We are not letting him out of AZ guarantee that.

    There is still a limit on how many times that you can use the franchise tag on a player.

    Revis has been the best but not in my book anymore.. Hasn't he been injured for the entire season 2 years in a row and most of another season? Your best ability is your availability and Revis needs to get healthy to earn that label back, IMO. You can't sit out 2 and 1/2 season's and still be called the best...

    BTW, I'm not saying Peterson is the best by any stretch.... I'll say Revis is the best when healthy but that dude is always hurt

    This is the first season where he's had any significant injuries. He's had some minor injuries before, but nothing big like this year.

  • And Patrick Peterson had a horrid year at CB his rookie year. His punt returns made people forget that, but it was bad. This year he's better, but he still doesn't have great cover skills. He's fast, and finds the ball. Put Ed Reed at CB when he was drafted and he's the same player.

    He's getting better and has made some fantastic plays but I think if you put him at Safety, he could truly be one of the great ones with his speed, hands and ball hawking ability.

    Nice to see the coaches make some packages for him on offense.. They should run more wildcat with Peterson and/or let him play some more WR

    Wrong, he was ok the first half of his rookie season but the 2nd half of his rookie season he was great not including his punt returns. This year he's been great one bad game thats it. great cover skills.

    Agreed and I'm not even sure that Peterson doesn't love it in AZ. I'm just throwing out 'what-if's". I have no idea how he feels about his time in AZ.

    Giving up over 10 catches for 120+ is not a good game.... I don't care how much you win by, or who good you are covering.

    Even though Calvin Johnson has had a good game and all, it's still not like Peterson has had a bad game. Nobody in the NFL can shutout Calvin Johnson when he comes to play, no matter how good a CB they are.

    Even Stafford cant stop Calvin.

    No big plays, 0 touchdowns.

    1 int for P.Peterson, thats a good GM to me and reason why we won.

    He wasn't on him for EVERY catch. They played some zone and a few times he wasn't on him.. Peterson batted a TD pass down, got an INT and had great coverage most of the day.. A few catches were definitely not Peterson's fault.. He played Megatron pretty damn well today
