    Somebodies feelings are ruffled.

Don't let it bother you man, it's really not a big deal.

it doesent bother me, i know why i root for osu...

why did the msu students fail to show up vs iowa and brasky (they are vested are'nt they)?

are they not supposed to "care" more then t-shirt fans?

thanks for answering my question regarding the msu student section support (or lack thereof)

my bad, i thought students and alumni are the most loyal fans out there...

It's great being an alumni or student of the school you grew up loving, isn't it?

keyword is SEEMS buddy. seems doesnt mean absolutely 100% sure that it is in those hands and not moving one bit. the picture is also way to blurry, how do you not see that. Im not saying the refs call was exactly right but im saying the review is right. The evidence was not clear. I got asked if i dont understand football, well let me ask you? do you guys understand that there has to be indisputable evidence.? m 17 years old and i still play the game guys. i understand football thank you for your questions.

If you didnt +1 this... You will never love the inernet.

    lol!!!!!

again i say, answer my question...where were the beloved , faithful students (and alumni) during those key games?

and to answer ur question, i loved my time at ksu...it afforded me a great life, but, like everything in life, it was a means to an end...

but back to the main question, if students and alumni are more vested in the school and team they root for, why the dissapointing showing by the msu faithful?

That was a horrible call. Ball broke the plain with control, clear as day. PSU got robbed

Wait, so ND fans DO understand the rule that if the ball breaks the plain, it's a TD? blank

  • As I stated earlier itt, this thread is not about ND & Stanford. It is about PSU-Nebraska. Stay on topic & stop crying about stuff that happened weeks ago. PSU got ripped off Stanford did not. Find something new to cry about.

Forward progress was stopped slap nuts. Then after the whistle blew he lunged & reached the ball over. Get over it.

lol. The thing is, Stepfan Taylor's legs were still moving, therefore, it was a TERRIBLE decision to call forward progress.

Stanford got jipped. Get over it.

I don't follow your question. I love my Alma matter and I support them. There is no greater feeling when the school I am an alumni of succeeds. I lived it so much growing up I went through personal hell making sure I graduated from that school. I said earlier I don't need to elaborate on my personal hell because it pales to some of the things I've seen. However, if I read you right, you want me to get in the collective heads of thousands and thousands of students and alumni from MSU and tell you how they feel. I am not capable of doing that.

Having my degree from the school I grew up loving means the world to me. I can't describe the feeling, but I'm sure you must have that same feeling about the school you grew up loving. Nobody can ever take that degree away from me. I don't know if that answers your questions, but I give back to it and I have season tickets and I support it financially. I'm proud of it and love the fact I have something in common with all of the Spartan alumni everywhere. Hope that helps.

but, but you said students and alumni "care" more and "hurt" more then "regular" fans....

you didnt grow up loving msu academics, you grew up loving msu football (admit it) and that's why you attended it...

i grew up loving osu football, thats where my allegiance begins and ends....

you are passionate about msu (and that's great, i applaud your stance) but just because you sat threw econ 101 in el doesn't make you more (or less) a fan then people that have also supported a team their entire life...

my case in point, this year, current frigging students didnt even show up for a game when the ccg was still attainable for msu and they only had to walk to the stadium...i live in michigan and have a family, and still drove to columbus for some games and came back the same day to support my team....i supported osu when they sucked during the 80's and when they were good..

    a2brutus

  • PSU got screwed. Video proves that he had possession WELL into the end zone before the ball got knocked loose. Yep, Big 10 got you guys this weekend. Anyone that says its a fumble is either blind or a troll.

I support the packers. I supported them for a long time. I love it when they win and lose. I bought one of those goofy shares.

I loved MSU growing up. I loved everything about it. For you to tell me to "admit" I loved athletics more SCREAMS out how you can't possibly understand what I'm talking about. Then, for you to talk about attendance figures like it has anything to do with how I feel about my university goes even further toward you admitting you couldn't possibly understand what I'm talking about. Frankly, it's sad you'll never understand that.

You go way out of your way in many threads talking about this, there has to be some inner psychological reason you need to try to justify what you need to justify. Good luck with coming to terms with it.

All it does is make more sense as to why you are here. Big brother having their chances hurt for a division title due to a BS call put a huge smile on your face.

It must have been awful growing up a MSU fan. Truly, you were born with an appetite for mediocrity. Congrats for letting that love of MSU and the the little brother syndrome that comes with it hinder your view on this matter. Speaks volumes.

So, threads are created to suppress debate? Only join threads you agree with? Can you imagine the Internet if it was Luke that? How vanilla.

Call was solid. You need to deal with it.

Its understandable that you're upset about how awful Mich State is this year when you were so optimistic at the beginning of the year. Doesn't mean you need to come over here and troll. Call was clearly a bad call. Even the Nebraska radio announcers said it was a bad call. I wish we got to play MSU this year. But then again, so does every team in the Big Ten.

  • My two cents... I didn't read this whole thread so I apologize if what I am going to say has been discussed.

I believe the replay being confirmed was the correct call. There wasn't indisputable evidence to support the call being overturned. Had it been called a TD on the field then that call was going to be confirmed too.

The issue PSU fans should have in this situation is with the line judge and not the reviewer(s). Had he put his arms in the air signalling touchdown we wouldn't be having this discussion. He saw fumble and that is the outcome.

I know feelings are hot right now following an emotional game. I look forward to playing you guys every year, and have the utmost respect your your team and coaching staff.

Not at all. It is something I enjoyed greatly. From Bubba Sith and Gene Webster to Kirk Gibson Scott Skiles and Magic Johnson I've enjoyed MSU athletics.

There's more to my love of school then just that however. Your angry shallow post tells me you just can't wrap your head around that. No big deal.

    Call was correct BTW
