It's what coaches always say. Don't let it come down to a bad call, but that is easier to say when it doesn't happen to your team of course. I hate seeing calls like that and even worse, I hate seeing it reviewed on TV and they still screw it up.

Of course, I hate the helmet to helmet call in the secondary that they are making now that they don't even allow to be reviewed. We had one in our game and when they showed it, it was a shoulder and even if it had been the helmet, the receiver had dropped to his knees just before getting hit.

Penn State will always be more significant that MSU, deal with it. You guys had two good years with Cousins as your QB. You have been and are again, an average team without him.

This is also a football message board. No one gives a crap about graduation rates, APR scores, or anything like that. I like Penn St and all and love their fans, but if you think a HC that covered up a travesty like the Sandusky issue, would be above making sure things were taken care of in the classroom as well, you are crazy. Not saying it happened, but I am just saying it is hard to believe any numbers like that anymore.

None of that means that Penn St isn't a great school, BTW.

I understand your live of a school you grew up with, but it gets tiring when you read this tripe from people who have nothing to do with a school other then throwing some beer back at a Saturday tailgate and walking into a stadium.
