    Sounds good to me! cheers

Me too. One can dream right? Honestly though, an annual thanksgiving weekend game between PSU & ND would be huge & generate millions.

Let's be honest... there would be no BTN if it weren't for PSU. We have the largest dues paying alumni association in the world, over 500k living alumni and we are the predominant university in the Northeast. If you think that we are taking more than what we are worth to the conference, you need a psych eval.

Haha this thread and the blind homers responding are funny.

Bottom line the B1G was here before PSU and does not need them if they want to leave. OSU and Michigan will always carry the flag for the conference along with Neb now. Also no one out there wants PSU from the AQ conferences. You guys are delussional thinking otherwise.

I said four years from now. And this is all hypothetical. But if in four years PSU is in the ACC (however unlikely) then ND would almost assuredly join in full as well.

The Big East, when they has VT, Miami, and BC, thought the same thing too. The ACC is getting suckered by Notre Dame.

Oh my God yes... what would the Big Ten ever do with out the glory that penn state has brought. Such great traditions like whining about the refs after every lose, crapping your pants on the side lines and locker room sodomy with pre-pubescent boys.

    You're insane.

The Big Ten is so much more than a bunch of whiny penn state message board fans. Good Lord, leave already. I assure you The Big Ten will miss you for about 3 seconds.

Never, in the history of CFB has there been a more whiny, worthless fanbase then penn state. WORST. FANS. EVER.

You think that there isnt one AQ conference that wouldnt want PSU? LOL now that is delusional.

Your not very smart are you? Either that or your just making extremely dumb comments just to try and annoy people.

Are you blind? Do you realize PSU is the biggest joke/punch line in all of sports? You guys are a marketing nightmare now.

Name a conference that wants a school with a 4 year bowl ban and a permanent reputation as the school that hid a sex offender? Seriously call them and ask if they want that.

You are lucky the B1G did not kick you idiots out.

  • PSU fans are still living off of the years of playing a power house schedule full of teams like Holy Cross and Duke. Those schedules lead to undefeated teams and 1 game seasons in major Bowls.

THey were confident that playing the likes of OSU, Michigan and other top B1G teams would be no different and they would rule the conference from the start.

THey had one great season early on.

They have been surrounded by mediocrity since and it must be a conspiracy. They can't possibly just be an average team. At least in their minds.

And sneezing at Miami is foolish. They look like they are about to enter nuclear winter but that's a program that is a solid HC that moves them forward in a linear fashion away from being a top 5 program at ALL times. They are an island to themselves way down there and on their island is usually 2 five stars and 25 four stars a year and about 50 three stars that any one of them could turn into an NFLer. It's sickening.

ND is not joining the ACC full time, they have no reason to.

    100% correct.

I will never forget the 1st time psu played at Ohio State in a Big Ten game. It was rainy and cold. We were tailgating before hand and a psu fan...a girl...maybe mid 20's, came up and started laughing. We all just stared at her.

She said "We will never lose a game in The Big Ten" and walked away. We just shook our heads and then Ohio State kicked their a$$es that day.

  • Question:

Why does everyone (maybe not everyone) assume ND would join the ACC because of Penn St? They obviously would have a better deal in the B1G than the ACC already. The part time ACC membership gives them security and a place without having to join a conference and make less money than they already make.

Second of all, the B1G wants no part of losing Penn St. They bring in the most markets of any one single team in the conference. It would be a huge loss if they left.

    BetterOff

  • But PSU will not stand for the injustices put forth by the B1G and NCAA conspiring against themfail

If we were a marketing nightmare, why did we keep all our major sponsors? There are only 2-3 teams that make more money than Penn State. We have a huge alumni base and we bring major markets to the table. You are clearly just trying to stir the pot. There is no way your this stupid. Or are you?

Its all about money, and Penn State generates alot of it.

  • Penn State might be very happy in the ACC as long as every call goes their way and they're willing to overlook child.
If not, they will scream about conspiracy theories and want out of the ACC also.

Go ahead and leave if you wish Penn State. We hardly noticed you were here and no one will notice when you're gone. The only reason you have been relevant in the last 10 years is because you were the cause of the biggest, and most disgusting scandal in all of sports. And then have enough nerve to bitch about being punished for it.

  • I'll make this simple. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, DC, NYC. That is why PSU is so attractive.

And quick, tell me who has the most Big Ten championships since PSU joined the Big Ten? Tell me who has the most National Championships since that same time. Tell me who won the most National Championships in the nation since 2007. Tell me who won the last Natty for the Big Ten.

Like it or not, PSU has the most successful athletic department in the Big Ten. The BTN is built for showing "secondary" sports, and PSU brings a lot of viewers because of their alumni base in the cities I have listed above. Say what you want, but PSU brings more to the Big Ten than what they take from it.

    You are welcome.
