    I hope PSU does leave the B1G. & yes the ACC would snatch them up in a heart beat & yes ND would join full time. ND & PSU could revive their old school rivalry & it could be a huge Thanksgiving weekend game. As a traditionalist I would love this.

    And quick, tell me who has the most Big Ten championships since PSU joined the Big Ten? Tell me who has the most National Championships since that same time. Tell me who won the most National Championships in the nation since 2007. Tell me who won the last Natty for the Big Ten.

    Like it or not, PSU has the most successful athletic department in the Big Ten. The BTN is built for showing "secondary" sports, and PSU brings a lot of viewers because of their alumni base in the cities I have listed above. Say what you want, but PSU brings more to the Big Ten than what they take from it.

    I have a hard time believing Penn State carries a huge presence in all these areas. I have family close to the Pittsburgh area. When I used to go visit them, people up there seemed to care about the Steelers 100 times more than they cared about Penn State

    Just ask a Penn State fan how well they're received in these areas, you'll get a straight answer. It's the same attitude of self-importance and unscathed ethics that allowed PSU to cover up horrible crimes for a decade. Their fans fall into lock step march with this attitude also.

    The big ten did very well without Penn State. It won't happen, but who really gives a rats behind whether we have to treck up there once every couple of years to see the empty spot where they used to keep the statue of the corrupt coach. See you later.

    You are right about one thing PSU is a great academic university but no matter what you say, or your fan bases says you will never erase the negative reputation/stigma of what PSU is known for and there in is the dilema.

    PSU cannot wash away their reputation it will always be there and it will be what prevents another AQ conference from taking you on.

    Tattoos and all the silly little minor issues with other programs just don't matter. Everytime a psu fan spouts off their idiotic superior attitude the end of every discussion is you're school, athletic department and coaches failed on a colossal level.

    You would think with the last year the fan base would have learned some humility... The majority didn't. If this didn't do, I don't think anything will.

I have no respect for the Big 10, say what you want, Big 10 needs PSU, PSU doesn't need that crap conference. Lets take our money to the ACC, I rather go to ACC towns for away games.     This year we are average, and years before sometimes below average. Thats a fact, I understand that point, even with some really bad PSU teams, we sold out games, and travel very very well. Very high rating when on TV(large PSU fan base, and the haters even tune in). Big ten has been overrated, thats also a fact. ACC schools have a large PSU alumni base around them, and going to Miami, North Car., FSU, even VT, or Iowa, MU, and OSU. Thats a no brianer. Your a complete retard for thinking I said we ran the Big10, never even came close to saying that. PSU gets beat by OSU, but makes more money than OSU, because I guess they have unemployed alumni.

    Not sure how you came up with that, but if that's just a gut feeling, mine says differently. However, in PSU's case, PSU doesn't recruit as many midwestern kids as it does mid-atlantic, so it may help PSU there.

    It's undeniable that you'd make more money with PSU in the conference than without, unless we were replaced by ND or another big time football school. TV contracts are more attractive with PSU than without. There's no championship game without a 12th team either. It's just a fact. That said, it's not like you'd be hurting for cash, and the B1G woudl still be a cash cow without PSU, just slightly less big than it could be with PSU.

    No, the tat gate was the worst, getting free tats is not a 2 year bowl ban crime. How does getting a tattoo help your competitive edge? it doesn't, and Terelle Pryor isn't a bad kid, media had a field day with that poor kid.

    I'm not arguing it...but if PSU left ..the $$$ isn't going to stop flowing though the conference...it will drop your yearly revenue to leave.

    Here's the big picture son: You're average in the Big Ten. You say our conference sucks. (lets agree) You go to a tougher conference with 15 fewer schollies cause you've run a beyond corrupt program for years. Basically a scum of the earth type people who ran it- going to prison type scum bags, including Joe Pa had he lived. You'll get your tail handed to you in other "tougher" conferences. Will you still be "traveling well" with no bowl games? with 4-8 records? Will you still sell out your stadium? Sure we can say you might, other statistics of losing teams tell us something diffferent, unless your fan base is like the Green Bay Packers nuts who will sell out a green and gold scrimmage in August. Perhaps they are.

    But here's the bottom line. If you think the Big tens revenue slows down a bit, you're out of your mind. The BTN will do just fine.

    Good luck in the new conference you're looking for. I wish the kids on the team and those who are coming well. I wish the staff well who has done a great job in adversity (other than Larry Johnson who also knew what was going on). The kids don't deserve the crap the criminal Joe Paterno, your school President, your A.D. and Sandusky has brought on them. They didn't know they were playing for criminals, and for a corrupt administration. It' s not their fault.
