Columbus is a dump?
have you really ever been around Columbus? Lulz....and news flash the ACC stopped being a better hoops conference almost 4 years ago...you are not going to get clown stomped in hoops worse then you are now. If you don't wanna go to B1G towns that's your right...but lets just say it for what it is..almost your entire board didn't have an issue until the lid came off. There were even threads wanting to kick OSU out for being an embarrassment ....so just keep it real. And there are tons of threads on your boad and have been eluding to the " poor PSU " and " poor us the conference hates us".

No "poor us" and no "whoa is us". Most PSU fans are east coast based, I live in the philly area. Most college sports fans are PSU fans around here, and I haven't talked to one person who wants to be in the B10. Face it OSU, B10 is your conference, we know that, but it has gone soft. ACC is a better fit for us, I don't wanna leave because of the refs or the "red-headed step child" thing. I wanna leave because the B10 is BORING!! I been to Columbus OH, and god bless you guys, that town is a dump. I don't wanna go to 90% of the B10 towns and the conference has gotten weak. ACC would kick our ass in BB, but it would be awesome to see Duke and coach K in State College. (tarheels too) I could give to shits about Iowa, Minn, Wis, or NW. I think PSU fans would enjoy a change and dicking the B10 and leaving them behind, would be awesome! They did nothing for us, and it is true, B10 brand isn't like it was 20 years ago. The ACC would be a dream come true!!!

Let me translate: wahhhhhhhh. We got some bad calls so we want to leave. Menus, didn't the book that just came out say the criminal Joe pattern wanted to leave the league after a perceived bad call vs Michigan in the late 90's?
Just get out. You're an average team in an average conference. You're not going to get any better. Your Bball team stands zero chance of winning a title, hockey will be a joke and I dont know about baseball but could care less. Take Larry Johnson and go.

If Penn State is average where does that leave MSU? Look, I could understand if you were an OSU fan how you could talk shit. But MSU! MSU is terrible. Always has been. You guys had one good year...last year.....and now you think you can talk shit? Your season two years ago doesnt count as a good season because you clowns lost by about 100 points to Alabama. Would have been 150 if they didnt pull their starters half way through the second quarter. LOL.
Say what you want to say but Penn State is doing pretty well considering their circumstances. We were completely stagnant under Paterno, yet we still won 9+ games 6 out of the last 7 years. 3 points away from two undefeated season and 2 points away from a trip to the BCS championship in 2008. Where was MSU?
This year, in the wake of the scandal, we had a top 10 recruiting class, things were looking great. Penn State wasnt stagnant anymore because we had a head coach with a pulse. Interest was huge with Penn State. Then the sanctions hit, we lost some big recruits as well as alot of interest from top players. All of that, we still have a higher average recruit rating rank than MSU and we are only .8 total points behind you guys and you have two more commits....LOL
On the field, we lost something like 15 players. Two were very good offensive starters, another was our all big ten kicker and the rest of the loses seriously depleted our depth. Yet despite the all the transfers we are still 6-4, 4-2 and MSU is 5-5, 2-4. LOL at MSU again.
So keep talking your shit. Just realize no matter how bad things are for Penn State. We will never be as sad as MSU is on the football field.
We still seat 108,000 in our stadium.
We are still Penn State.
Its still a great University.
Great academics.
Still a ton of tradition.
A ton of history.Interest in 2014 kids is already starting to pick back up, compared to what we had this year. Penn State is not going to stay down forever. You can say what you want to say, but the truth is we are too big, too proud and too strong to be destroyed by this scandal and the NCAA sanctions.
Enjoy mediocrity at MSU because other than a year here or there, mediocre is all MSU will ever be.

I'm sorry you think Columbus is a dump.
I think Columbus is one of the nicest cities I have been to and as people who know me on this board, they know I travel a ton.
largest in Ohio, 15th largest in the US named by many high profile magazines as:
Top city to do business in Top city in America for white collar jobs Top city in America for the tech industry Top 10 zoos Top city for culture greatest "neighborohoods in America (short north, arena district)
I could keep going, but I think you get the picture...one mans castle is another mans dump.
I've been to philly more times than I can count, I think there are some great areas, but there are some nasty areas as well.
Maybe you need to explore Columbus a ittle more next time you are here. I will certainly help with some tips if you need them.

1. You can't just kick you out based on the fact that your football team was a criminal enterprise and sex slave opperation for ten years. The proper people will go to prison for the crimes against humanity, but the criteria by the presidents to allow you to come into the league wasn't just based on the football team, it was other things
2. Who cares. Hell, I say Fresno State, or maybe Georgia Southern, or Minnesota State. As long as we have a 12th team, who the hell cares who we replace you with. The BTN will do just fine without you.
3. I don't know, there's been a couple of hockey national championships between Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and the like. The CCHA did well, I'm sure losing the powerhouse PSU won't kill any type of hockey league.
4. Comcast is a slut for money. They're only paying 70 Cents per subscriber. If the PSU fans choose to drop Comcast because you drop out of the league that's no big deal. I have a feeling whether you're in the league or not, PSU fans won't drop comcast. The Big Ten Network comes with a basic package. Why would any sports fan want to get rid of it just because you're not in the league? I imagine you could drop comcast as a protest. Enjoy the dish.

Big 10 will do fine without PSU, I am not saying the Big 10 even needs PSU. I do believe that the ACC is a better fit for PSU, in all sports. I don't like the Big 10, the big ten will always be OSU and MU conference. PSU doesn't need the Big 10, PSU fan base is huge and very supportive, we make plenty of money, and what we make in the big ten isn't that much more then ACC would pay. I would love to see PSU basketball play in the ACC, that would help with the east coast recruiting. I just got worked up, there is some great schools in the Big 10. Plus who wants to deal with OSU fans, so annoying

Penn State wants to leave the B1G
