    I mean when you see what BOB has done with McGloin how could a QB not want to come to PSU. Plus our offensive system is awesome.

    I honestly can't even fathom this offense with hack or bench being as good as either of them could be (I'm really high on bench, think OB doesn't play him to make sure sec teams don't try to grab him). I mean, McGloin is Favre mentally (def wears crocs) with penningtons arm

    It has the potential to be amazing. I mean we'll have Hack/Bench throwing to Robinson, Carter, Breneman, Trevor Williams and Eugene Lewis and have Belton and Lynch in the backfield.

    You haven't seen anything like our offense before, it should definitely give you some problems. The key to our game is going to be how well we can contain Braxton, we have a great front seven so we have a shot, but Braxton is a special player.

    And there is no containing Miller for 4 qtrs.

    We don't have to contain Miller for 4 quarters, we just have to not allow him to totally kill us and control the game. You haven't played a front seven as good as ours yet. You guys might be further along and be a better team, but PSU can still beat you. The atmosphere will be insane so that will really help us.

    And yeah... All Miller needs is a quarter, so yeah you do have to contain Miller for 4.

    Pretty sure the win last year is still on the books. Bradley was head coach, after all. They didn't bother to take away his one win.

    And yeah, the other ones happened too. I seem to remember a lot of arguments to that effect from OSU over Arkansas. Of course, those arguments are switched now when it comes to PSU, but don't let me stop OSU fans from being hypocritical or anything.

  • I am gonna disagree with the OP not because I am a Buckeye or a hater but because I think the season is just gonna wear on them with their depleted and dwindling depth. They looked slow in a lot of positions yesterday with what little I saw of the game and I think 3 out of their next 6 games will be losses, including to tOSU. I know they get a bye this week but they come back and straight in to an Iowa team that has always played them tough and hits pretty hard. I think the next 6 weeks wears them out pretty bad. JMHO.

    I'm pretty worried as well. This is a good time for a bye week. No major injuries right now, so just resting at near as full strength as we could be and going into a rough stretch. Have to beat Iowa and Indiana, and should be able to win one of the other four if not more. Wisconsin and purdue ain't great and Nebraska and osu have some holes on defense if we can get some breaks. Having Wisconsin and osu at home should at least give us some help.

    But emotionally and physically, it's gonna be rough for the players. They have been very fun to watch though. 7-5 would be nice after the brutal start. 8+ wins would be very good all things considered.

    I sure am. Hopefully we can just hold it together for the next few years and at least be able to field a semi competitive team. If bob can have them improve each week like they have this season, that would be good and about all we could ask for and expect.

    The problem with the "holes" in tOSU and Neb defenses is that they are vulnerable to screens and spreads. Their lines are built to crush the run game and the "Pro Style" offense. Ask MSU. If you guys do screen plays the whole game you should be fine against tOSU but if your team runs an "I" set the whole time it is gonna be a long game. I think the biggest challenge left on our schedule is Denard R. but again JMHO.

    I think it will be a pretty high scoring affair in Happy Valley on October 27th. Our offense is finally starting to click and making things happen. I am worried about OSU's offense more than their D. I'm not going to be a homer and say we shut OSU's offense down. I think it will be your typical B1G, grind it out game in the 1st half. The 2nd half it will turn into a crap shoot. I have faith in our offense to hang with OSU so long that we don't turn the ball over.

    If you assumed the NCAA followed some sort of rationale thought process you were wrong, ALL wins from last year were vacated.
