People from Alabama talking smack abt ATL is hilarious. 285 sees more traffic than most cities combined in AL. Yeah, there is always traffic there and always work to be done bc of that traffic-but that is living in/near a big city. ATL is a pretty cool city and if you look at population growth, then millions agree that ATL is a great place.

Let me guess, your Atlanta experience boils down to walking to the dome, staying in Buckhead and driving to your buddies houses in East Cobb and North Fulton, right? Maybe one late night trip to the Highlands?
The fact that East Atlanta and Decatur are still off the beaten path of people from outside the city is something I hope never changes.

Been to both of those areas plenty of times. Went to a great restaurant in Decatur two weekends ago. Leon's (on Ponce de Leon) is one of my favorite spots. That's a cool area down there. I still think Atlanta sucks though. My girlfiend and several friends are from there, so I've spent countless weekends across all parts both inside and outside the perimeter. It can be a fun place and there are cool spots here and there, but it doesn't compare to the other cities I listed. There are alot of negatives to Atlanta.
