They've been selling them for years around the Coliseum. Just take the idea, use the best quality franks with the rest of the ingrediants, and you can make them at home.
There is a bakery here that sells jalapeno hot dog buns. Very good.

If you want to be really bad....grill the inside of the bun on the pan with a little of the bacon drippings.
I make these hot dogs when we're watching away SC games we can't make - they're on their own for NFL games, lol. Serve with homemade potatoe chips and yam fries (the sweetness compliments the hot!), cold slaw and decadent chocolate cake.
I love the men in my family, and they love me, lol.
