It's obvious at this point he can't read because I've said that from the very first post. What I'm saying is true and these folks are good people and they enjoy working for him. The owners "right-hand" man has been with him for 13 years. He started the process of citizenship in 2007. He didn't make the cut and will be deported very soon. He was arrested at his home, in front of his 2 children. His wife isn't a citizen but his kids are so she can stay. A good mans family is being ripped apart. The bread winner for that family will be deported back to Mexico. Who becomes the default breadwinners for his family? Us. Just a sad situation with no easy answers.

That is obviously not the answer to the illegal immigrant issue. I truly believe that if you are working and paying taxes that you should be allowed to stay. Funny thing is that most ardently opposed to immigrants believe that we will end up paying for them and their family. Well in this case we will because the primary bread winner is deported while the rest of the family can stay.....becoming tax payers responsibility. Sad thing is that by law anyone here illegally broke the law coming here, but being here is not illegal. Then you have families that are allowed to pay taxes being illegal, but can be deported anytime. That doesn't even make sense to me. Why in the world would you pay taxes when doing so would alert the government the you are here illegally? The issue is so convoluted.

Seriously. Can you read? Have you read this thread? Did you read the part where I said they are paid 10-15 dollars per hour? Did you read were i told you he pays them overtime? That's minimum wage? That's all any factories pay in rural county Georgia. That's a fact. Where did you come up with my friend is terrible to them? Why are you making that up? I've been 100% honest in everything I've said in this thread and you're desperately trying to poke holes in the mans character and are at a point of just makin shit up as you go along. I have no doubt that your scenario happens at other places but I can say with 100% certainty that it doesn't go on there. It's pretty sad that I can tell of my friends situation , how he should be the example and you still assume that he pays minimum wage, makes them work overtime at regular pay and all that. Take your hatred of the rich to another thread. It does not apply here. Do you think he should pay them 20 per/hr, Give a retirement pension, pay for complete health and dental for his employees? If that was the standard you couldn't afford the products. That's not the standard anywhere except the Automotve industry Unions and we all know what that did. They had to be bailed out. There's zero reason for you to say he's evil. You've been completely wrong in your theories and assumptions.

So if hes paying the going rate in rural Georgia, why is he hiring illegals? The rate is good enough for the Mexicans, but not good enough for the Georgians? There is no hatred of the rich here....there is only hatred of the illegal and immoral people you bring to the board and cloaking them as innocent victims. A state with a nine percent unemployment rate, and your supposed saint, is hiring illegal aliens.
Whats his "product" by the way...in rural Georgia where this factory exists?

Because we have lazy asses that would rather collect an unemployment check for 6 months, use food stamps etc to make ends meat. Illegal immigrants don't have that option. They don't work, they don't eat. Our government makes it easy for Americans to stay lazy and unemployed. I know several people who do this. I'm sure there's several hundred more I don't know that does this. They work the required 140 days, take volunteer layoffs and reap the benefits of unemployment the rest of the year at our expense.

A small 100 employee Company had 35 undocumented workers arrested in Ga today. They were arrested at their homes and will be deported. All of them working in the plant. The company will now in essence have to close its doors until it fills those vacancies which is highly unlikely due to the laziness of those that don't want a job. These undocumented immigrants pay taxes out of their payroll check. 95% of them have been working for this company for 13+ years.
So yeah, that's America. Lets not forget that this country can't maintain it borders and prevent millions of pounds of illegal drugs from crossing the border but it has the money and resources to arrest tax paying people who are just trying to feed their family and provide better who happen to not have citizenship. Thank you Georgia. I feel much safer with these people off the streets.
