She may have been, but how about the other "qualified" candidates that didn't get the job because they weren't as good looking and weren't willing to ride the coaches pole, therefore the Petrino also opened the University up to possible lawsuits from those candidates.

I can't stand these aggs either sometimes, but to say that Briles is never leaving Baylor for any job is just not having a grasp of the landscape of football in your state, not even mentioning your conference or the rest of the nation.
Nothing against Baylor, but it's not a destination for football unless maybe you went to school there. Turning down Texas Tech isn't great proof of his lifetime loyalty.

It was a destination for Grant Teaff, and if Briles continues to win at Baylor he will continued to get paid and get the facilities and backing he needs. He is tied to closely to the state of Texas to leave for something outside the state, and the only other school I could even possibly see him considering is Texas and that would be a long shot. Also since he is in his mid 50s I don't see him looking to move around at this point.
