Petrino didn't lie to the police either and he didn't lie to his boss. He lied to his wife who relayed to Long while Petrino was in surgery that he was by himself and the university released that. That is the reason that Long never said Petrino lied to him. He said he wasn't completely forthright. Also the chick was highly qualified for the job. The was the top fundraiser for the university foundation and that didn't involve Petrino. She had only worked for him for about 5-6 days when all of this went down. Check your freaking facts before you go overboard.

That is not true. All of you are simply speculating. I can promise you that knowing the girl, there is very, very, little chance that she would ever file a sexual harassment suit. She already said the first time she spoke to long, that Petrino never promised her the job as a result of their relationship. There was no quid pro quo. Also, no one on here knows if they had a sexual relationship since she had been hired. Remember, she only worked for him for 5-6 days prior to the wreck. If they hadn't slept together in that time span, then he didn't have an inappropriate relationship with his subordinate. There is no law against hiring someone that you have previously slept with.
