    That's an incredibly generous/creative interpretation. Here was his post in full:

    "It looks good to you.. I mean, 3 Bama OL on first team? Mingo 3rd team? Da'rick Rodgers over Justin Hunter? Corey Lemonier over Clowney?

    I could go on and on and on."

    He cites the inclusion of the 3 Bama OL on the first team as an example of the list being a joke, which clearly implies that he believes they "shouldn't be on the first team". Seems pretty unambiguous to me.

    I don't have a problem with most of the lis except a big problem with Duron Carter. Tell me even if he was going to be on an SEC team this year what would make him be anywhere in the all sec teams. He hasn't played since 2009. That year he didn't have a year that blows anyone out of the water. Has he even practiced with Bama this spring? This would be like saying C. Patterson on UTk should be on this list. He's actually played on a team in the last few years though.

    Uhhh, yes, obviously I am. That statement does not gauge the merit of the players in any way, shape, or form. It is simply stating that a Bama fan would be happy with 3 players on the first team OL and nothing else. You are simply projecting your preconceived feelings on it.

  • I've never liked Phil Steele's magazine. It's big, but there's no way to trust its reliability when one person is the final say for so many teams. You can't realistically tackle that many teams and do a good job with one person.

    Lemonier had 9.5 sacks. Clowney had 8. Guess it might have not been great to say Clowney didn't show it last year. I still think Lemonier is better right now and I don't see how it couldn't be argued that Lemonier is better.

    To be fair, if you look at draft boards, Fluker is considered at this point a top-3 tackle and Jones and Warmack are both considered top 5 interior linemen nationally. So it stands to reason they would be among the very best in the SEC.
