    This. It wouldn't be surprising at all if that happened IMO. Give enough time for your O-Line to gel and you come out firing in Miami.

  • Heard Steele has UNC winning the Coastal which is funny since UNC's NCAA sanctions prevent them from doing so this year(even if they finish first the second place team would play for the ACCCG).

    I don't see VT beating FSU twice probably at all with FSU's chances of beating VT twice just a bit higher which leads me to believe there's a good chance they'd split the series if that happened(and each seems the prohibitive favorite in their division). One of the games might be a bit of a show but I think one of the two meetings might be a legit race to 10. At worst those are 2 of the top 10 defenses in the country and very well could be 2 of the top 5.

    As was said, FSU even playing for the MNC will necessitate a perfect season barring every other conference winner(OK not the Big East) coming out with 2 losses and I just don't think FSU can run the table this year.

    Wrong and right. FSU going unbeaten will put it in the MNC game, because unlike 99% of other programs, FSU's football program has brand equity. I think you are correct, however, in believing that FSU will not run the table this year, even though it has the defense in place to get the job done.
