To be fair, I never listed him as the best already. That was another Hokie and he's entitled to his opinion. I do not share it, as I think he probably needs two more years, but I may change that tune if he has a big year obviously. Don't know if he'll be the best, it's unlikely, but I think he has a chance and should be in the discussion at least as a sleeper. I've heard he has first round potential, even next year, so hopefully it works out. And of course there are failures, moreso than successes, but I think Logan so far has been a success.

I've watched Logan in practice, scrimmages, and spring games, since he came to VT. Last year after Logan's first start, I talked with his Uncle and Aunt, Who Logan grew up with, and we just laughed at the people doubting Logan. We knew he was special, and one of a kind. In his first season, Logan became the 2nd QB in VT's history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season. Whatever you think of Logan, you have no idea how good that kid is.

But to be fair nearly all those 3000 yards all came against unranked teams
This is my gripe with any QB though so don't take it personally as many know Im not a huge VT fan
I just need Logan to show his ability against the best, same goes for me with EJ
EJ always underperforms in games we really need him to play well
Last year at the swamp he was awful, defense won that game
His loss against OU and getting hurt
The ACC title against you even though it wasn't all his fault he did turn it over twice
The UVA game last year was a huge WTF, he didn't play well against Miami last year
For QB's to get my love ( I played QB my whole life so Im hard on who I like ) has to get it done when it matters most
I think we have established that Logan looks and can be one of the true elite specimens at the QB position, but he has lots to prove so no offense but you laughing at the people doubting him might come back to bite you in the ass
But we all agree in terms of talented QB's in the ACC Logan is the #1 guy right now, but Im not sold he is the best based on his on the field performance

First, Many QB's at VT before Logan played against lesser talent. 2nd Qb to throw for over 3,000 yards, with a RB that had a record setting year of 1709 yards rushing.
EJ had an incredible game against us in the 2010 ACCCG. First INT was an incredibly play by bruce taylor, who layed out and tipped a perfectly thrown ball, to another hokie, who housed it. I posted the picture below of Bruce's tip. Incredible defensive play. The second pick was late when FSU was way down, they had to pass, and we had 25 db's on the field.
When it mattered for Logan was againt Miami. Coming off a tough Clemson game, Logan went 23-25. David Wilson dropped a pass, and Logan threw one away for the two incompletions. With under two minutes in the game and trailing, and 87 yards from the goal line, Tyrod Taylor was on the sideline, and told Logan, "This is where legends are made. This is where your legacy starts. Now go do your job." 87 yards later, Logan won the game.

Bottom line on transfer is Saban has a good problem, The pot is too full. I honestly was shocked Bama recruited as well as they did last year and so far this year. There will be more transfers as there isn't room for all the talent to get on the field. Again its not a criticism against Bama but at some point the sales pitch will wear off and kids will again start looking for early playing time. Its not just a Bama thing it happens at all major programs at some point. JMO
