  • These are the type of things that make it difficult to get upset with a kid changing his mind at the last minute when schools do it too (some schools more than others). At least the kids have the excuse of being 17 or 18.

    I don't blame him. Alabama embarrassed him today. Sure, he would still get a full ride, but he was basically told he was a backup plan. I would be pissed.

    Yeah, I don't either. I know he's know about the possibility for several weeks now but, even at that, the notifications about it to him and Taylor came way too late in the game this year for me to feel comfortable about it.

    Not taking him? Haha. Waiting a semester isn't the same as telling him to gtfo. And he's known for several weeks that this was a possibility.

    CNS is conducting BAD BUSINESS in Bama right now. I've been a Bama fan for life.....but I am going to be 100% honest with all Georgia Prospects considering Bama that I come into contact.

    This is no way to treat kids...........BAD BUSINESS!

    Tell people what they want to hear, they will like you. Tell them the actual truth...they may not.

    I am not saying I agree with it. I think it is messed up, since he was committed to Auburn (presumably on a legit offer...we will never know) and switched to us only to find out later he would take a grey shirt.

    Now did we mention there might be that possibility when he switched? I don't know if we did or not. I just know he was aware of this possibility a few weeks ago.

    I don't like it, but I also don't like the fact that the SEC's new recruiting rule on signees deserves an equal amount of blame as our staff.

    In all seriousness, if he just found out in the last two weeks than CNS should have been handled much better than he did. I just find the reaction to a kid, that has no chance of contributing for us as a true freshman being asked to delay enrollment by six months, hilarious.
