Looks like it was just buttons. I remember the game from that flash simulator, but wasn't one I crushed hours on.

  • I suppose I should put this here...

Last Friday I went to a Bar/Arcade for a friend of mines birthday. Mixture of old school games and ones up through about 2000.

The entire place was free-to-play, they made up for it with pricier beers, but the beer list was fantastic, so I didn't mind so much.

    I played the original Pong.

Did you play Pong at home or Pong that cost you a quarter? I used my weekly allowance which due to a "depression era dad" got me 4 plays a week.

  • Y'all might appreciate this: The MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in NYC just did an exhibit of classic arcade games as "applied design." Pretty cool.

  • I dunno, to me you guys aren't exactly naming the classics. Pong, Space Invaders and Pac Man were the first three.

Let's put it to you this way, my bachelor party was half held at Barcade!

  • Shinobi was mad hype, so was the Simpsons beat em up. May not be consider classic for older folks, but was a mainstay at my arcades.

I've seen that movie about 20 times. The game was prolly just in the background
