    lolNo doubt!

Although Rod Smith (aka Eddie George) gives Berry a run for his money.

  • Upon further review are we talking pro career too? And is talent more important or accomplishment...and if accomplishment, then individual or team more important?

    Dan Fouts all the way.

If we are talking strict college career, Harrington is almost untouchable. He went 27-3 as a starter at Oregon and won three straight bowl games, being the MVP of two of them....(And would have been the MVP of the 1999 Sun Bowl if they didnt vote for the winner in the middle of the fourth quarter.)

If you are going to add pro career in there, then its Fouts.

  • I am talking strictly talent-wise here

QB: Drew Henson - guy should have quit baseball in high school. He was seriously awesome as a Junior at Michigan...even if dud niss the first 3 games of the season because of a foot injury. He would have lit it up as a Senior and then been the #1 pick in the NFL if he didn't leave. Dude had it all, 6'4, 230's with a huge arm, was very accurate, and could run. Fuggin bastard. He was the best QB I have ever seen at Michigan and he barely played. Fuggin tease.

RB: Ty Whealtey. Freakish athlete. 6'0, 235 with track-star speed. He was seriously fast as shit, and big as shit. Dude was 230 and probably ran in the mid 4.3's legitimately. Ty set all kinds of state records in high school running track and also set some school track records at Michigan running track. His 10.46 (electronic of course) in the 100m at the time was a school record, as was his 6.80 in the 60m, but both have now since been broken by other UM tracksters. Wheatley ran for over 4,000 yards in his career at Michigan and averaged 6.2 yards per carries.

    Chad Henne and Mike Hart

Chad Henne was drafted in the 2nd round and has signed 2 contracts worth millions of dollars from NFL teams. His last contract with the Jags was a 2-year, $6.75 million deal. At least 20x what Troy Smith will make in the arena league.

Any OSU QB's in the NFL? Does Pryor count?

Dude chill it was a joke. He's a buckeye fan; he knows how good those two were but his team did go 4-0 against them, hence why he made the joke.

I know why he made the joke.

I'd still rather be Chad Henne than Troy Smith.

I'd rather a 5th year vet in NFL with about $10-12 million worth of contracts signed with 2 NFL teams (which means if I'm smart, and not a moron that I should have at least 3-4 mil in the bank) and 0-4 against Ohio in college than be 4-0 against them and playing in the Arena Leauge earning what- $30 grand - like Troy Smith.

Troy is actually the best QB to ever play for Ohio as well. Heisman winner. And it's not like Ohio has been a school that has done well with producing NFL QB's. He's probably the best Ohio QB ever. Sad.

But you are contradicting yourself. You put Henson as the best qb, and Ty as the rb. One went pro in a different sport the other didn't do much in the league. So for the sake of that argument Troy had the better college career which was the topic of the thread.

Not contradicting myself at all. Maybe a bit with Henson. But the dude was incredibly talented. Anyways, Henson signed like a $20 million guaranteed contract to play for the Yanks. Almost 100 times what Troy Smith will make in the arena league this year.

Wheatley was a stud in college, and he was a 1st round pick that played in the NFL for 10 seasons. I wouldn't call that no doing much. Average life-span of an NFL RB is 3 seasons. Ty played 10 seasons. Most of them don't go in the 1st round either.

this is correct. you could make a very strong argument they were the best ever at their positions in the history of college football.
