  • Nope we don't deserve to be in the top 25. Mullen should have made our guys stay and clean up troys stadium and then run the stadium afterwards after giving up 570 yards

I would agree with you, although I cut them some slack for coming off the emotional beat down of Auburn (as that was a big one for the program) and having to go to Troy which is not the easiest thing to do. Playing at a place like that can really lull a team to sleep, IMO. It's also a Troy team that returned absolutely every skill player they had from last season as well.

I thought it was a pretty dangerous game actually. Also, once you guys got up 23-7, they kind of just cashed it in. It almost killed you though for sure.

Besides, there were not a lot of other teams that were knocking on the door of the top 25 that really impressed.

  • FSU is a top 3 team and UGA is a top 5 team IMO.

Those defenses can cover up alot of mistakes, outside of the offenses turning the ball over. Plus FSU has great special teams, and UGA isn't slacking in that dept. at all.

  • How do you justify ND at only 18?

We deserve at least a bump into top 15.

Dont think WV should be that high yet. They have played some cupcakes to start the year. I wanna see them in Big 12 play first.

I had planned to have them higher actually. When I started lining things up though it just didn't happen in my poll. I am sure they will be 13-15 or so when the AP/Coaches polls come out though. I did have them jump 4 teams that didn't lose Saturday in my poll though.

A couple of things to think about though: The B1G has seemed pretty awful so far and Michigan St barely squeaked by a depleted Boise St and Penn St manhandled Navy in the same fashion that Notre Dame did. If Purdue and Michigan St impress as the season goes, then these last 2 wins definitely look like great ones.

You are probably right though, I should have them up a few more spots, but for some reason it didn't happen.

Luckily, I am not an actual voter.

Definitely. Really liked them to start they year and no one behind them has impressed enough for me to change that thought and WVU hasn't done anything yet to make me change my mind on them. I started them at #5 in my poll this season.

agreed they barely squeaked into orange bowl by big east default then blew up cupcakes clemson, marshall, james madison(?)....not saying they're bad by any means, but i'm not getting out the annointing oil just yet.

In week 3 no one should be getting out the annointing oil for anyone, IMO.
