If Marshall isn't a great QB they are in trouble. There's just no talent on that team. They might have some young guys who will be good in the future, but next season is going to only go as far as Marshall takes them. He's also going to have to deal with a young, inexperienced OL with not much talent at the skill positions. If Gus can get him off to a fast start then they have a chance at a bowl. I would bet almost anything they won't win 8 games. That might be more than a little optimistic at this point.

I have, like 100 times to you on here. I will oblige you though, once again. It doesn't matter what your recruiting ranking is. That is not how they determine wins and loses. You guys signed a bunch of shady charterers with bad habits.This has been proven time and time again. It is also proven by the FACT that your coach agrees and just signed like 10 JUCO's. That mens he doesn't have talent. That;s first year, 101 stuff, bro.

Maybe not all together. I mean, you could have a group of freshman that have yet to come into their own. I think a few of the OL you guys signed will pan out. But they will take some developing over time. Most of the other guys though were misses both on and off the field. I just don't see any talent looking over your roster. Who stands out to you specifically?

It doesn't mean you are devoid of talent all together, but it usually is a good indicator that you are devoid of mature talent that is ready to contribute next year.

On a side note, why has nobody mentioned QB Wallace? Did something happen with him I missed? I thought he showed some promise.

Hosley Mason, and Cassanova showed promise, true, But the others are far from SEC players yet. I didn't even know Dee Ford or CJ were still on the team. Avery Young is the only person on that list I would say has a chance to play seriously in the NFL.

I know he isn't an NFL prospect, but I thought he looked good at times last year and showed some potential. Kind of like Todd in the fact that he wasn't much of a physical specimen but just seemed to be a real competitor and a decent decision maker. Definitely think I would rather try my luck with him over KF if Marshall doesn't work out for some reason.

I could see auburn losing 5 of their last 6 games. If they can somehow split Tenn and Arkansas (both tough road games) then they still have to beat Wash St and both Mississippi schools to get bowl eligible.

Any idea what wash st and the Mississippi's have coming back compared to auburn? I know wash st was auburn bad last year.

during Chiziks four year run he retained apprx 60% of the recruits he signed beyond a season(if that).

why exactly do think the bottom fell out ?
