Assuming by idiot, you mean Chris Low was incorrect and/or the statistics he presented were incorrect. How was he wrong?

The statistics he presented were correct, but the significance is almost nil. My job is analyzing statistics. I know what I'm talking about.

Bama fans and the whole nation needs to get their head out of their asses.

Texas A&M's list of most impressive wins (outside of Bama)

Beat Miss St by 25, 38-13 (and Miss St beat Jackson St, Auburn, Tenn, Troy, South Alabama, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State, and Arkansas) Beat Ole Miss by 3, 30-27 Beat LA Tech by 2, 59-57

Manziel looked hopeless after Florida adjusted in the 2nd half, and looked hopeless all game versus LSU.

Bama is going to lose by two touchdowns and go to the Chick-fil-A bowl, while UGA wins the national championship and Manziel wins the Heisman solely because he beat the vaunted Bama team.

I understand that, but A&M got better every week and peaked against us coming off an emotional tough win at LSU. Saban just said a few mins ago in his press conference that the LSU game had an affect and they didn't respond properly.

Just bad timing to play them. Switch them on our schedule with Missouri. If we get aTm coming off a bye week, we handle them with no problem.

OK, but we didn't, and we got beat, and that's college football. In the last 10 years only 3 teams have won the whole thing undefeated - Texas ('05), Bama ('09) and Auburn ('10) - so odds are your champion doesn't go undefeated.

It SHOULD worry you that that in your only tough game on the road you got HAMMERED. And then got pushed around by Kentucky - who couldn't play aTm within 5 TDs. And got torched by Tennessee for 44 points. It's YOUR head that's in YOUR ass.

I hope you're there tomorrow to witness it. Georgia is Tennessee with a few more athletes on defense.

They beat UF who is ranked number 4 in the country, do you not count UF has a big boy?

Sure they are. But when UF has given them 5 TO's entering the 4th quarter and the score is 10-6 still, there is a problem. Georgia needed 6 UF TO's to get an 8 point victory. UF gave that game away. UGA did nothing to earn it. Georgia played like vag's all day and got lucky. They play that way tomorrow and Bama will be playing reserves by mid 3rd quarter.

Listen I'm not saying that Georgia doesn't have a chance. Crazy things happen every weekend. I'm just providing evidence that is isn't likely and that the odds are against them.

    huh

UGA only beating 1 good team with Murray at QB and Bama beating a lot of good teams with McCarron at QB is pretty significant.

My hobbies include watching college football. I know what I'm talking about.

I take it you aren't very good at your job then. To not study history affords you the mistake of repeating it. In this case history of CMR and Aaron Murray repeats itself over and over and over and over...you get the point.

Tenn didn't torch us for 44 points.

They had an INT returned for a TD (7 points), an 8-yard TD drive after a fumble, and an 18-yard TD drive after another fumble. That's 21 points off turnovers. So, the score would have been 51-23 without those turnovers.

As for the UK game, it was right after our loss versus SC and we played without Jarvis Jones (who, by the way, was noticeably injured versus the SC game). They didn't push us around, 504 total yards of offense by us.

As for SC, the reason UGA lost is our offensive line couldn't handle Clowney/Devin Taylor. Bama doesn't have a pass rush nearly as dominant as SC. (Which is also why what Manziel did to Bama isn't relevant, since Murray doesn't have those wheels)

We can debate crap like this for a while, but UGA could easily beat Bama without having to play a perfect game. And Bama can beat UGA without playing a perfect game. It's gonna be a fun game.

So, how did Bama go undefeated in the regular season in 2008 when they weren't very good in 2006 and 2007?

Superior coaching, point blank. We didn't have the talent or it was too young to match UF that year for 4 quarters.

My posts are full of logic that your homer ears don't want to hear. I've posted several reasons why I believe Georgia is a pretender. You just call names and are yet to post anything with any backing. Typical of an ignorant homer. So sit down and let the grown ups have a discussion.

You're such a hypocrite. Nothing of substance. Every post you have in here is one line consisting of "they're bitter", "you're correct", and "you're an idiot". Talk about no substance. Basically, if you didn't pick UGA in the thread you're an idiot, bitter, or just wrong. Pick UGA and you're correct. I guess Vegas is a bitter idiot too.

So you were bad at times on O and D against UT. Whatever. They SUCKED this year.

You think Georgia could play an OK game and beat us? Put the crack pipe down. It took Mettenberger's best game of his life - Manziel's too - just to play us within a TD either way. Jeez ... the DERP is strong in this one.

The defense still gave up plenty of yards. Not a flame, tennesse has a good offense. They put up yards and points on us.

I would still stay you got "lit up" for 44. You gave up nearly 500 yards. For comparison, we also have up 44 points to Florida in similar fashion with a lot of turnovers and short fields. Still only like 190 yards for them.

Point is, in our game, it's much more reasonable to blame the offense for making the defense look so bad. In your game vs Tennessee, I'm not sure you can do that when they allowed 480 yards.

  • 27-9 Bama

This will be a classic Saban game where Bama will never get up by more than 17, but the game will be in hand the entire time. Someway, somehow, a 10 point lead seems like a blowout when Bama plays. I guess it's just you know the other team won't score twice in a row

Our defense was also on the field a lot because we turned the ball over or scored very fast. (7 scoring drives under 2 and a half minutes, with 3 being under a minute. Plus 2 drives with turnovers, :39 sec and 1:09 sec. Overall, 17 possessions with 16 under 2:42)

Tennessee averaged over 4.9 yards per play versus Bama. Our crushing defeat was only 5.6 per play (they ran 85 plays) The other games for Tenn with under 7 were Vandy - 4.1, UF - 4.7 MissSt - 6.2, Miss - 6.4, USCjr - 6.6, NCstate 6.6, UK - 6.9.

Again, not trying to make excuses, but it's not too difficult to amass 400 yards when you run 85 plays.
