My brother attends ole miss and stays on campus and he said that about 10 o clock about 100 Obama supporters started chanting in the Student Union that's when others started coming and I am guessing that's what started the "riot". He said he didn't see any violence. A state that is mainly Republican I can see where this escalated.

Give it up man, there've been multiple reports of racist acts at Ole Miss in the last few days. Don't bury your head in the sand, try to address the problem head-on.
