Protests break out at Ole Miss due to election results

    I don’t dispute anything. I simply am making the point that things have happened this week ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY. That we, because we are Ole Miss and from the State of Mississippi are being held to a higher standard. No other state in the Union has worked harder over the past 50 years than us. For that work to be disregarded and judged because of something 10 people might have done, seems ignorant.

  • My brother attends ole miss and stays on campus and he said that about 10 o clock about 100 Obama supporters started chanting in the Student Union that's when others started coming and I am guessing that's what started the "riot". He said he didn't see any violence. A state that is mainly Republican I can see where this escalated.

    A riot without a single punch or anyone hurt.

    This was a screaming match between two impassioned groups. I live in Oxford and there was nothing to be seen.
