  • Does he win Heisman this year? I say yes, and he dwarfs Johnny's numbers.

Tough to say. He's a better thrower, but he doesn't have near the escapability that Manziel does.

Doesn't need to when he throws as accurate as he does.

Manziel kept a LOT of plays alive by avoiding pressure though. Bridgewater has speed but he would have taken sacks on a lot of plays that Manziel somehow was able to squeeze out of and make a completion based on that.

Did Geno Dwarf those numbers? Both his receivers are better than anyone on aTm, and it's an offense tailored for that....so I disagree.

Geno had 800 more yards and 18 more TD's with 2 less INT's. Higher QB Rating as well. Geno isn't a dual threat QB, so he obviously didn't have the rushing numbers.

Wait, how did Geno get brought into this?

Maybe Teddy wouldn't have dwarfed Johnny's numbers. But I do think he would have won the heisman playing under Kingsbury.

My point is Geno is more prolific and is more accurate than Teddy and in his tailor made offense he didn't dwarf JM....so no way Teddy would do it in atm. IMO

  • Let's let Florida decide. They played both quarterbacks. They said that Bridgewater is the best QB they faced all year.

They also faced Manziel during the first start of his career.

Clearly, Manziel in his first ever game is a good evaluation to make. Man, you're smart.

He will do much worse this year next year than this year. I am glad he won the Heisman this year. It will be his best year. It was a blessing for him that he was in the SEC. He caught them by surprise because they are not used to an offense with a pulse. I have faith that they will regroup. It took Muschamp 30 minutes to figure out how to shut him down. SEC! SEC!!

Could all have been avoided had you offered him a scholly, imo

I think it will be his best year as well, but that is because Kingsbury is gone.

If he had only been willing to be a db, he could have gotten a degree that was worth something. I think he made the right choice though. With any luck he will have an NFL career that will obviate the need to get a job. Being a veterinarian sucks unless you love animals. If anyone makes a sheep joke, I will smite you down.

You wouldn't be saying that had you offered the kid. He played UF during the FIRST game of his career. You ever think that he is going to actually improve?

If he would have been your qb, you probably would have won the Big XII.

  • Texas sure had a hard time stopping Alabama's rush offense. I'm sure it had something to do with McCoy being out of the game or something like that though.

Hey, knocking a starting QB out on a team with no backup is a solid strategy. I mean there is luck involved, but you need it when your record against Texas is 0-8-1. It is good to be king.

Just don't cross the borders of Alabama. Your degree isn't worth squat out of state. It is good to be king!
