I wasn't aware Leach was at Houston or A&M, silly me, I should get my facts straight. After all, Kingsbury must have been calling plays for Sumlin at Houston, considering he wasn't even the OC. Ah, that's right though, when we talk about A&M you're the expert.

I am sorry but link this info. I call BS
Edit: I wouldn't have jumped on you had you not gone and said something stupid like "well if Manziel would have just played DB". Why the fvck would Manziel have wanted to play DB at Texas when he wins the Heisman at qb for a team that has a better record than Texas for the two years he's been in college? Shouldn't get mad at the kid. Get mad that Mack Brown can pick a qb for shit. Since Vince Young he's allowed how many studs to leave the state?

Shocking how little you know about your team. All Rivals' rankings. No 247 back then, but most of them came here (or at least the best ones).

Yeah, it's only cool to tout a university's academic prowess when you actually attended the university. No one cares about your diploma from Texas Tech.

I don't know much about Texas Tech. Why would he avoid the question and not say he graduated from there?
Personally, I don't give a shit where he went to school. The other guys are badgering him about that. Still don't understand why you wouldn't say you graduated from there.

Not going to happen.
I grew up an OU fan, but even I know this is nonsense. Kids in Texas grow up dreaming of playing for Texas, not the aggies.
It's going to take more than one good season and a Heisman winner for that to change.
Texas has had one Heisman the past decade, and came close with Colt and VY. JFF isn't going to suddenly change the culture of Texas football.

FWIW expect the 2014 state of TX class to be A&M heavy, it's the reason VaHorn avoided the question when I asked him how the 2014 was shaping up.

That isn't due to kids not wanting to go to Texas anymore, it's because Sumlin is doing a damn good job at aTm.
If Texas hired a competent coach capable of keeping a staff together that cooperated with one another, then things would swing back in UT's favor.
It's nothing against aTm, just the nature of football in Texas.
IMO it will take much more than one season and Heisman to consistently change the recruiting landscape in Texas.
