I've said it 100 times on just about every Bama forum out there, we need to go after this kid. He and Bateman would be as good as it gets. Let Parker McLeod go somewhere where he has a chance of being 3rd string at least.

I wouldn't call Jeremy Johnson as good as it gets.. I do like Bateman though.

His potential is off the charts but he needs a redshirt year (plus some) and decent coaching. But I meant Bateman and Johnson in the same class would be as good as it gets. We really need a great QB class this year.

Jeremy Johnson with Bobby Petrino coaching him would be VERY dangerous. Unfortunately, our president doesn't give two shits about football or is too retarded to realize this.

He's not gone yet AU guys. These kids change their minds 400 times a day. I'm just saying that there is a kink in the armor and if we, along with other staffs, are smart, we/they will go after him. But we will mess this up, just you watch.

The problem with your argument is that you can list every player arrested since 2007, any and all shortcomings (no pun intended) in shorty saban's record, and you're an expert on Bama's NCAA infractions. I don't think you can criticize anyone following another team.

Is $2.5 million really worth uncertainty in the program?
I'm not convinced Chizik's gone after this season. Why wait? Auburn has the money. Cut ties and move on already, IMO.

Not certain I'm very intrigued by Johnson. He's got got size but he plays in a terrible region. He's a project at best and with Bateman is be surprised if he ever played a snap at Alabama. We'll see. If the coaches want him, I'll take him.
