Absolutely the real deal in terms of baseline skill set. The feet are +, but will improve his footwork a ton in the next few years. His arm strength has few peers. I like the arm action. He can move the arm quick, and can throw from different release points without taxing his body. He's fine from a physical standpoint as well IMO.

As a pure talent, the real deal, yes.

He's got a lot of development to do, as do 99% of HS QB's coming out. Changing ball speeds, with the understanding of what throws are 50-60%, 75-80%, etc...is going to be huge for him. As he develops and understands that because of his talent, he doesn't have to throw seeds all the time, he will definitely go to the next level on the field IMO.

On the surface, which is all I have, he shows command/leadership juice about him too. Guys like him IMO.

There are always so many variables with QB's, so that is just what I have taken away in the 3-4 times I have seen him now.

How's the OL recruiting going buddy? That's a nice 240 pound HS offensive lineman you've got that doesn't know how to pass block at all in Evan Lisle.

Your OL hauls in 2012 and 2013 appear thus far at least to be as lesser as it gets.

Sure is a long ways to go, but looks like every top OL recruit in midwest/northeast is about accounted for.

Pocic is still out there. I'll believe he goes to OSU when I see. He is definitely not the OSU type.

We have good coaches that know how to scout and evaluate talent. Nothing interesting about that at all.

Not to flame but Tx gets a lot of early commits ever year and is always rated at the top or near the top of every class rankings and only 1 National Championship to show for it in recent times. So to put all your weight in how many commits you have and how high they are ranked don't mean squat!
