Question for the Auburn fans out there

I always hear you guys talking about how much of a classless scumbag Saban is. Just wondering, if he decided today he had done enough at Bama and wanted to take over the Auburn program, would you be happy?

Absolutely. Any rational person would answer in this way. Also, I've always thought Saban was an asshole, but not a classless scumbag. I don't mind that he's an asshole. Hell, I'm an asshole most of the time.

Auburn is a perennial 8-4/9-3 team who has sporadic great years about every 5th or so. That's who they are. Nick Saban, God, etc. Isn't changing that. This sustained championship run they dream over is why theyre them.

Seriously though. I remember hating Saban when he was at LSU. I thought he was smug and arrogant. I also remember seeing his players warm up on our field and knowing that the're was no way our guys were beating his. Just to much size difference. I wanted him as our coach even though I could'nt stand him. The problem is, there's very few guys liked him out there available. So thats were a fanbase can go crazy. You can think your next coach is the next Nick Saban or Bob Stoops or
Urban Meyer but in reality they aren't. They are whoever they are. We got Saban. Alabama+Saban= Perfect Storm. There's a reason he's accomplished more at Alabama than he did at LSU and I really do think it's because Alabama is Alabama. Auburn needs to decide what they want. If I were an Auburn fan I'd want a young uo and comer like Kevin Sumlin. Auburn culture is different than Alabama's and I think a very high profile assistant wound do very well there. I'd be patient and let him grow into being a great coach instead of wasting time scouring through the very few coaches who are already great. I'd want Perino first and foremost. If he wasn't an option I'd go young and offensive minded
