Quinshad Davis tidbit

  • Spoke with a different contact late last night regarding Gaffney (S.C.) WR Quinshad Davis.

    His prediction was Tennessee, too, reinforcing what we reported Sunday night.

    But Davis has remained relatively tight-lipped with coaches and friends in this regard, and there’s enough smoke to consider UNC a factor.

    Davis has also been talking to people about going to the Tar Heels’ home basketball showdown against Duke in one week (Feb. 8).

    Also here separately that Davis' mother really likes UNC.

    SignS or subterfuge? We’ll find out shortly.

    I’ll be covering Davis’ news conference for the network, which begins at noon. We should have an announcement thread going way earlier.

  • Last I heard a couple weeks ago he was all Wake. If this kid gets out of state and blows up at Tennessee Im gonna be furious. S Car just filled up too quickly and there are some WR in the state next year who I think are going to be just as good if not better than Davis.

    Think he got 'T'ed up in his basketball game last night for mouthing off to the ref so he'll fit right in with Bray and the wild boyz at Tennershee.
