RB Greg Bryant

  • He's in Norman today and tomorrow on an unofficial visit for spring practice. Bryant and Ford would be a RB class for 2013.

Do work...keep him away from Noles and the Domers. Kind of a headcase but great looking RB.

  • Sounds like FSU is starting to turn the corner on Bryant, should get interesting

  • He is moving up the board for FSU... could be interesting

  • I have been on the Greg Bryant bandwagon forever it seems

Not really sure where he is leaning, nor do the Noles really need him or anything

But I will be disappoint if we don't get him

If we do land him I can't think of a time where FSU had so many RB's that I truly loved ( Freeman, Pender, and Bryant )

PS whoever gets him needs to pray he stays out of trouble..... being an FSU Im used to that so join the tribe..... thug life!

One of them might have too yeah

I would like to see us take 3 RB's though if we can, with Bryant being one.... the other 1 or maybe 2 Im not really worried about

Bryant told FlaVarsity he doesn't see himself anywhere taking 3 RB in a class but maybe that had something to do with UF taking Lane/Taylor over him. shrug I would love for UF to get Green but imo he heads to ND if he doesn't commit to FSU.

The Domers are after other targets...Doubt were really in this

  • If we miss out on Green and Turman hopefully we go after Jackey Marcellus to go with Greg Bryant. If Wilder is not back on the team we will have two running backs going into next year in Pender and Freeman while Beverly will likely be an H-Back.

Our recruiter on him is new DB coach Grady Brown from Southern Miss (young, black guy). Don't know much about him yet but we seem to be sending him out on a lot of higher rated guys we're after in the GA/FL areas.

Bryant is currently in Norman, Oklahoma. I get an inkling that him paying his own way to BFE Oklahoma, means that Oklahoma is also a contender.

Most who have followed Bryant would say OU is a serious contender.... even a potential leader, I sure would

  • No reason not to think OU would be in it. I was mostly saying weird because we were in there. Don't usually see a FL kid everyone knows about say SoCal, ND, and us. Noticed he named the same 3 in the most recent OU article.

I'm not really expecting us to have staying power but we're there for now.

Werd and a kid like Lattimore has made you an attractive place for RB's, that is the power of a kid like that

You probably don't get Bryant I agree, but from now on your name will be on the minds of more and more RB's especially if Lattimore comes back.... kicks some more anus.... and goes first round like he should

  • Nova sheds a single tear. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take visits in January though

  • I'm a little relieved he didn't choose USC. His talent is legit, but I don't think the Trojans need any more headcases from the east coast for a while. Congrats Sooner fans.

  • Wow, Keith Ford and Greg Bryant impressive RB class Sooners, still time for things to change obviously.

  • Like I said, UF and UGA both told him "No thanks" when he tried commiting in December. FSU has only recently made him a little bit of a priority, but they didn't push very hard either. While he's a nice talent, there is obviously something keeping the instate schools and other regional big programs from pushing too hard. He's going to be one of those kids like Levenberry at LB that everyone says is a monster going into their senior year, but slowly drops as more scouting is done and the analysts start noticing others and realizing that proven staffs have them further down the board than their ranking would indicate.

Imo, The state has atleast five RB's that as good or better, and the coaching staffs in seem to agree. Turman, Green, Lane, Taylor, Henry, Collins, etc. Maybe It's off the field, who knows. OU is a great spot for him and he's a good get for them, especially with freaky Ford already in the fold. Congrats OU.

So both of those average teams said no to a top RB??
