The rich indeed get richer. On the left was our "big" back, last year ... Jalston Fowler, about 6-1, 245ish. That's true freshman Derrick Henry on the right. He was running through high school defenses 4 mos ago. Also ... TJ Yeldon.
I'm sure some jackass will get on here and rave about FSU's corps though.

Lolz at admitting we were wrong, Henry still sucks and is a little pussy
One who dominated a bunch of tiny white boys in the gayest division in florida, and he is a 250 pounder who refused to kill kids on defense cause he is a pre madonna black man who listens to Iggy Pop in the shower
Also hella lulz at the fact he is still at RB in his first spring and thinking that justifies he will stay there all 4 years
God damn you fail hard Weedline
Kevin Durant is moving up in my favorite All-Time Athletes list. Mama raised him right.

I don't fully agree but partially as his physical dominance and running won't translate to the SEC.. I've yet to see anything from Henry thus far that makes me understand the "gushing" that Bama fans are exuding tight now.
-Being big doesn't make you a great RB
-The RB practice videos of Banma I've seen thus far depict a guy that is not a natural in terms of footwork and agility. Watch the practice video from the 1st practices.
-I'm NOT writing him off as being a RB but Charles Grant (UGA and Saints) was a beast HS RB here in Georgia in the mid-late 1990s. He played DE in college and the NFL. Terrell Suggs was also beast at RB in HS in Arizona. Google their high school stats and video. Brandon Jacobs has been a back-up in college and with the Giants to Ahmad Bradshaw....and cut by the 49ers as he was behind 3 RBs that measure 5'7", 5'8", and 5'9"
-So again.....,being big doesn't mean you will be a good RB.
-Also, if you research the data, big RBs are actually less effective in the NFL in short yardage situations and they aren't very durable on average. Obviously there are some exceptions but its not the normIn closing, I wish folks would stop evaluating football players because of "how they look". The worse is the gushing over LaMichael Fannng... "He's a freak", "Can't wait until this beast gets on the field....he'll dominate". If he were a beast he'd wouldn't be 2nd-3rd string going into his 3rd year on campus. We're talking football here.....Not the beauty or measureables Olympics.

You do understand that "most of America" has him as a 5 star RUNNING BACK, right? You know, the guys who do this for a living? Most of the people you are talking about is the ignorant morons who spew the same BS on here year ofter year. That doesn't count.
You guys feel like you need to have some kind sort of press release every time you miss on a big player from Florida. Or every time a player from the state does well outside of your school. Like it's a personal thing or something. 'Well, well, we didn't want him anyway". "He's not that good". "FSU didn't offer". "He wanted to go to FSU, but we took this player that has never done anything instead." See, you and your fanbase try to act elite. You have convinced yourselves that you still are elite, so in your mind, you are. The truth is, you're not. You're not even close. You justify your insecurities of losing players with the excuses above to transcend the actuality of the situation. That situation is, they are not going to FSU or giving FSU the time of day because you are not as good as you think you are. They want to go somewhere they can be successful. In the meantime, you guys act like a bunch of women on the rag every time you miss on a player and thus the reason everyone on every sports message board anywhere hates your fanbase more than Al-Qaeda. Truth

I agree with Nova to an extent on this one. He's a good back, but the jury is still out on 2 things, whether it translates to the SEC after playing really bad teams or he doesn't get moved by Saban. (who has tended to retract on some statements in the past)
