Washington sports fans, acting like they've just won the Super Bowl again. I guess that's what happens when your teams suck ass and have the most fair weather fans behind Miami and Atlanta.

And Washington sports fans, namely the Redskins have been through tragedy after tragedy and its no shock they are happy now

Certainly some really good young stars in that town, not so sure about it exploding. It's the capital of the United States, many people live there that don't care about sports or are fans of other teams. I think Northern Virginia is probably the deepest part of the fan base though, so maybe it is pretty high there.

I started watching in the late Gary era (with all of his recruiting troubles) but I still respect him. Even though a lot of what he did post title was inexcusable.

the 2009 and 2010 teams were pretty incredible. Lacked much talent outside of Vasquez but still won a good amount of games. 2009 had a 6'6 center and beat 2 final four teams! He could definitely coach, that's for sure.
