Sad to see former Canes RB Martin Patton died in a car accident yesterday. He was 42.
Tragically, both parents & a sister died in a crash when he was only 8.

Here is a Facebook post today from former Cane WR Lamar Thomas, who I have known since high school:
"Can't sleep ! Man life is short ! Still can't believe Martin Patton is gone. Looked up online the car accident in which he died . Then realized that I remembered reading a story about him losing his parents and sister in a fiery crash , then some time later his brother in another car accident . Damn . RIP Patton #32"
Very said day for the Cane nation.
Wish Patton's family and friends well in this most awful of situations.
