It's not just news. There are a lot of cool general interest stories too. The Diane Rehm Show is one of my favorites, as well. To each their own, I guess.

Yeah I mean you listen to it and probably have a much better idea of what it is on a day to day basis but I just lump all those kinds of programs into the same things
News radio and sports radio are two things I just can't listen to anymore, makes my ears bleed

People pretty much covered what I listened to in the morning (hardly drive nowadays, thank goodness)
NPR: Morning Edition and Diane Rehm (although her voice is like nails on a chalkboard)
The Mothership: Mike & Mike (if I'm up early enough), The Herd
DP show on Fox affiliates.
Now that I am in L.A., I wind up listening to Max & Marcellus on occasion... not great, not great...
